I noticed some possible hidden effects to the final equipment. The frost sword gets critical hits more than normal, the flame armor gets magic damage reduction (as well as attacks obviously) and the lightning shield does more damage when reflecting attacks in addition to its mana leech. MAKE THIS SEEN!!

Really enjoyed/enjoying this game! Only problem that came up, at one point the Red Ghoul ended up on the other side of the left wall in the arena, and moved offscreen. Never came back, but I could hear it attacking.

I think lvl 21 are too overpower, they should be less powerful to make the game more challenging, btw is one of the bests games at kongregate ;).

I miss the uber-elite upgrades that required 99,999 exp :( I played this game two times in the past, and that was the best part. I'm in the battle arena and now don't feel much like finishing the game out.

FANTASTIC 5/5: it would be even better if there were a quicker way to use an off-hand item like in the original Zelda. I found myself NEVER using the boomerang of anything other than the sword unless I absolutely needed to. Oh, and it was kind of annoying to have to farm for gold at the end just to buy that useless shield to get the last badge.

Last boss is really easy when you visit the bar right before you head over. Not sure exactly when the bar unlocked but first time in you get stuff that allows you to just use you magic attack repeatedly against the final boss. Game was really fun and got me 3 hard badges, lol.

Fastest way to make a little extra gold? Just go to the area two to the right of your home and cut the bushes. Great way to do things if you're just a few hundred away from that 5k mark. You get plenty of gold from the dungeons so it's not really worth sitting there just cutting them for all 3 items.

The beat world one isn't hard it's just time consuming. Sad thing is the expensive weapon that you buy is really super strong. But the game is really fun. The magic attack I don't really use but it's there. Very original Zelda kind of game. Fun though.

the best way to make money is through the coliseum, especially after you've beaten it twice because then the prize is 500 coins and you make another 400 or so from all the kills

Way to get best armor and weapon early:all you have to do is find a large patch of bushes and cut them (with a sword not a stick) then leave and go back into the area. keep this alive for others to see. thank you.

A good way to get money is to go to the room in the first dungeon in the second world and go right, up, and right. there are 12 pots. break them and leave the room. return and break the pots. repeat for a while and i mean like 45 minutes to an hour and you will have enough to buy the frost sword or one of the others.

Levelling health reduces the damage you take, as does better armor; you get more hearts by finding them in caves and certin shops. Same goes for levelling magic; magic attacks take less to cast. Attack and weapons improve melee damage. Cutybunny and butterfly are one-time encounters by slashing certain bushes in the second world. There are 30 rounds in the arena, and yes you can do it twice to get both prizes. The axes' special abilities can be used to hit 2 or 4 switches if you get between them. EVERY cave and fortress is worth exploring COMPLETELY. Farm bosses for best xp gain. On a personal note, the first time you get 5k gold, I suggest you buy the sword; early on and through most of the game, the best defense is a good offense. Good luck!
