Launch at 10 degree angle, and all cannons fire at 10 degree angle as well. You want as many encounters as possible, and you cant get that while your travelling vertically out of the visible map. So go horizontal and u'll see ur speed boosting tremendously.

Tips for luck badge: Frost Sword, Ninja Headband, Leather Bracer and instead of Walkman like what CypherDextrous suggests get Champion Belt. Encounters are all that matters. 950k in one try without even using a single Power Smash.

*FLASHING WARNING:* Warning to anyone with Epilepsy/Migraine. As you get higher & faster, the background can start to appear like strobe lighting.
This was worse for me on the darker Backgrounds, and was very bad for the Hard badge.
@Everyone: Please +1 so others are warned in advance (posted before it's BotD).
@Kongregate: If games don't need to have a flashing warning at the start, please add the Tag 'Flashing Warning', instead.

There I got the badge of the day for 1/23/15. This game is not fun. The idea is, but not the game-play. Plus I don't like that music when its time to whack the guy.

That hard badge is very luck based in the first 20 minutes of playing I got to 652k with bad gear, then I had to play for nearly another 2 hours with much better gear to get it. The loadout I finally stuck with and used to get the hard badge was Frost Sword, Ninja Headband, Walkman and Leather Bracer. That seemed to be the best out of the many combinations I tried. Launch completely horizontal and only use your Power Smash when you absolutely need to. Good Luck!

Dont need kreds 2 set highscores in this game.
Just start playing horizontal 2 get speed, hit a cannon and then shoot 45 degrees up. I use mr Titi weldingmask, bullitbelt and the blue sword, the special armfitting for easier powersmashes helps a bit.

Money should accrue with distance. Yeah it's fun but playing it over so many times to earn enough money to buy things gets annoying.
