Adding a gun at 5 or 6 Gold stars would be appreciated, since there is a "gap" where you try to get gold at all levels, but you wont get anything halfways/at all.
I would prefer a BFG or a Laser if you ad this!

I'm supposed to be a highly sophisticated killing machine, and yet I have to rely on my tracks to escape the area and not a map... That seems logical. I like BerzerkStudio games, but as far as this game goes it's 1/5 for me

I use a trackpad which makes aiming difficult, but I discovered you can just hold down mouse1 to continuously fire.... Until it cut out halfway through the level. From then on, I had nothing but mortars, and let me tell you, this game was not meant to be played with just mortars.

WTF, I go ALL THE way to the boss, destroy it and then have to go ALL THE WAY BACK in under 2 minutes. That is some lame a$$ BS.

These games need to stop queuing actions. The slightest lag can cause my character to go careening off. Forcing me to stop doing anything until he catches up.

This game is just a laundry list of bad ideas. Weak weaponry, enemy shots having *unlimited* range, never any idea of where to go, hidden enemies everywhere, super-easy to take damage, difficult to aim since you're constantly moving and firing (Decision did this *much* better), no real use for the mortar, and, oh yeah, having to backtrack *all the way* (with no map) is no fun at all. Is this really the same group that made Frantic Frigates? What the hell happened?? 1/5

I really "want" to rate this higher because I do like the concept BUT... gaining nothing from failed missions is really stupid and then there's the "escape" phase that makes no sense. And the pickups, they replace the weapon you have? (WTF?) And picking up more of the same weapon is assumed to make the weapon stronger like it works in most games, but no, not in this game, same crap weapon. I can't give this more than 2/5 even if it's a strong 2. Many things could have been done so much better.

I Honestly do not Remember how the hell I got this Impossible badge... But I do remember it took me days to figure out how to do it, and it was mostly luck.

As everyone else already says, the cover is shitty and is only used to restrict my movement. It pisses me off that I can physically SEE foot soldiers jumping the walls to get close to me. Need I mention the HORRIBLE weapon drops? I had the weapon choice I believed was good and while advancing, killing foot soldiers, I picked up a shitty 'G'. Also, the mortar is shit. It does radius damage strong enough to get an exact kill on a foot soldier. The mortar should be limited and capable of destroying whatever is in its path.

I like cutting trought enemy like butter. The lack of minimap is a problem, also why can't the transporter wait for me? and why the enemy respawn after killing the boss?
I would have liked to choose the wepon setup at start instead of relying on enemies drop that can mess up your run by downgrading you

Here's some gold star tips. 1-You can suffer a max of 5 hits (25 Damage) for any stage and still get gold for Damage. This refers to TOTAL damage throughout the level, not current health at the end, so Health Packs won't offset this. 2-Homing Missiles can go through walls if you're right up against it and fire "inside" the wall; this includes the treelines at Stage 1. They'll go through out the other side and hit anything onscreen enough to be honed in on. 3-You can go inside walls and be untargetable (basically, invincible) until you come out of it; all weapons still work. If you can manage to get behind a wall when the screen auto-moves to lock you in an area until you destroy all enemies, you'll get pushed into the wall and even be able to move around inside of the entire thing. I've seen this at: Stage 4 semi-boss fight, get behind the wall to the right when screen goes down - Stage 5 boss, go behind the wall in the nook at the lower-left and you can traverse within the whole wall.

Fail minus is this game's grade~ yep sorry but it just is
lacking mapping, hold space for auto mortar, upgrades to be bought with money instead of having to replay the same 10 minute level over and over to get a single gold star, and finally a NOT LAZY PILOT (lol every time I kill the boss he says that he won't stay anymore as if its just to piss me off)

The weapons are simply out of whack. The rocket launcher is the first unlocked weapon, and is WAY better than anything else even if it is a little slower than the others; having massive area effect damage, infinite range and ammo. The least you could do to balance the game would be limit the number of shots with it. Once a weapon is acquired, you should be able to select the one you want to use. I often don't even notice the NPC has spoken until it's about to flash off the screen. And, as many people have already said: A map would be helpful, the soldiers shouldn't do as much damage as the mecha.

@Vizuna: that 'bug' involves a security problem with internet explorer and affects many complex (graphically) games online, generally not depending on cpu speed, it has nothing to do with the game. press the key in the diretion you are going, or you can download firefox free on their and it will porbably stop. hope this helps

So a few things: First, the map is freaking huge and confusing, especially w/o a map. Second, anyone w/o bullet hell exp. most likely won't pass level one. Third, some people are saying "Follow your footprints to find your way back", except said footprints are everywhere due to searching for enemies and dodging, resulting in me going in circles until death. Forth, fluctuating hitpoints (one second, bullets go straight through and deal 0 damage, next your barely graze a bullet and it counts as a hit). And Fifth but certainly not least, those moments where you spray an area before you enter, only to find that your bullets disappeared before reaching them are extremely annoying. Be glad this game has badges, cuz it's the only reason I'm still playing.

I don't know how a turd like this made BotD. Cover doesn't stop bullets, powerups are worthless, no checkpoints, no map, all enemies do the same damage, etc... C'mon man!

My hint: don't play this game. It's too damn hard. And too damn stupid idea to not create autosaves during missions or checkpoints. I prefer games where the designer do not focus on hardness but on balanced experience and this one has bugs like do not give enough health packs, make most drops wear out of time, do not make visible the map or where to go and too much, I mean extremely too much dodging here. Poorly designed and do not worth to be played. I hope those who like this game enjoy it.

Who am I working for, Who am I fighting, and which is better G or S bullets. I just like the green ones cause they look cool.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ya I agree with everyone else a good idea overall but the game has no story, no how to on weapons, and all the challenges are really hard with much luck and hope you don't get the wrong weapon under your feet involved. I am done for now but will be back randomly to slowly tick away the impossible badge. good idea but needs work.

The infantry and the the flak cannons all use the same ammo... Hmmm... Request change? It's not BAD per se, just slightly bothersome.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Two things: One, there needs to be a way to disable certain powerups from showing up in levels. The flamethrower is absolute garbage and I am basically being punished for unlocking it. Secondly, there needs to be a way to quit back to the level select from the pause menu. I shouldn't have to kill myself to restart a bad survival run.
