Under rating threshold (show) It's no substitute for a map, but the footprints can help IF you use them properly. To mark my path as I went along, I ran over the same bit of ground until it became noticeably darker (and straighter) than the prints I made while dodging. It's usually easy to kill enemies first, then start where you left off. Of course this wont earn you any time medals, but it should help for the first few badges.

Under rating threshold (show) So a few things: First, the map is freaking huge and confusing, especially w/o a map. Second, anyone w/o bullet hell exp. most likely won't pass level one. Third, some people are saying "Follow your footprints to find your way back", except said footprints are everywhere due to searching for enemies and dodging, resulting in me going in circles until death. Forth, fluctuating hitpoints (one second, bullets go straight through and deal 0 damage, next your barely graze a bullet and it counts as a hit). And Fifth but certainly not least, those moments where you spray an area before you enter, only to find that your bullets disappeared before reaching them are extremely annoying. Be glad this game has badges, cuz it's the only reason I'm still playing.

Under rating threshold (show) The frustrating thing is that even if you DO beat the wave with four tanks, the next wave starts out difficult because you can't see half your screen, because the tanks are still exploding!! This in addition to the OP difficulty of that wave, and the bad pickups ruining your run...

Under rating threshold (show) On one additional note does anyone else find it odd that the super huge mounted guns/Mechs do the same damage as the tiny weapons the infantry carry? Are the mounted weapons super weak or the infantry super strong?

Under rating threshold (show) This game is okay but survival is too brutal. Surround the player with turrets that have a lot of health, quick fire rate and shoot two bullets is practically the death sentence. Rockets are the only weapon that can kill them quick enough but only when precise enough that all three rockets hit. Not to mention the fact that enemies can be off screen and continue to shoot but are now completely untouchable.

Under rating threshold (show) First level's time limit is just a hint on the actual nature of your commander. Of course he's giving you a hard time, making you run back, cause he wants you dead. Main issue I have with this game is the fact that the impossible badge requires you surviving a bullet hell with no defense, no recovery, weapons that are just not suited for a large mass of enemies on all sides, and a hit box that's bigger than your Mech. That's not how Bullet Hell matches work.

Under rating threshold (show) Two things: One, there needs to be a way to disable certain powerups from showing up in levels. The flamethrower is absolute garbage and I am basically being punished for unlocking it. Secondly, there needs to be a way to quit back to the level select from the pause menu. I shouldn't have to kill myself to restart a bad survival run.

Under rating threshold (show) I was playing the second level and went to go across the bridge to the final and got stuck. My character sounded like it was constantly firing but couldn't see it. The enemy constantly fired at me but couldn't hit me. Nothing worked so had to refresh the screen just to get it unstuck. On to next game.

Under rating threshold (show) Flame thrower is the most damaging weapon in the game, but you take damage from bullets far more often with it. Use it for speed runs. Rockets are more damaging than homing rockets and won't attack the wrong enemy, use them for everything you can. This game WILL punish you if you accidentally run into the wrong powerup, so be careful.

Under rating threshold (show) The weapons are simply out of whack. The rocket launcher is the first unlocked weapon, and is WAY better than anything else even if it is a little slower than the others; having massive area effect damage, infinite range and ammo. The least you could do to balance the game would be limit the number of shots with it. Once a weapon is acquired, you should be able to select the one you want to use. I often don't even notice the NPC has spoken until it's about to flash off the screen. And, as many people have already said: A map would be helpful, the soldiers shouldn't do as much damage as the mecha.
