I also really wanted to know if there are differences among the weapons (throwing a spear seems to proc more crits than other weapons), a sort of faq would be nice and not very difficult... are there any benefits from hiring a skeleton or zombie(?)? Also and very important (imho): some rare items (blue or purple ones, for ex.) are less than slightly better than the common (white) gear, providing the same dmg and a single +7hp / +6dex for instance.

I'd really like to see different finishing moves for different weapon types rather than just the stab in the head other than that though great game guys keep up the good work!

I like it a lot, but still needs some tweaking. I haven't read all the comments but I noticed quite a few people have had gear progression difficulty like I have. An interesting way to combat this, and add a bit more strategy to fights, could be to add "Match Bonuses" for putting on a good show. +Money for delimbing +Loot (rare loot) for beheading. Vote up if you think its a good idea. (Sorry for the repost, I wish Kongregate had a better comment system)

love how i cant hit a dude whos leg is crushed by throwing a spear-but he can throw a spear and hit me-maybe make an accuracy boost that can be upgraded?

I think after having both arms loped off gladiators should be allowed to use their teeth. Of course we all know its just a flesh wound.

@Geratwo in order to sever a limb you want to space ur dmg so that you doing much more than is left on the limb. For example, his arm has 15-30 hp left and you know your attack will do 100 you will 100% of the time sever the limb. It is basiaclly like OVERKILL or brutality. + if helpful

This game is so dumb at times. When there missing a arm that was holding their shields they can still block if they used shield bash before-hand....

Start game, go to coliseum, click on fight, game window goes black for a few seconds then goes back to the opponent list and I am unable to click on anything.

Define in what way shield bash has been made less powerful. It seems to be stronger than ever; at least when the computer uses it.

I'm running into a situation about mid to late game, where all my opponents have much better gear than me, and the shop keeps offering sub par equipment.

Hey guys who asking why is your progress deleted. If you use Adblocker your progress will be deleted(personal experience) so if you want your characters up to 200 lvl just turn it off (sorry for my english) good game and have a nice day to everyone!

Here is a tip make your team shield and spear because shield bash is a hit and defend while the spear throw ability packs insane amounts of damage when it is maxed out meaning more damage and more critical chance

You should be able to hit 2 separate parts with Combo x2. for example, i should be able to hit an opponent's arm, and leg.

i really love this game,ive played it for a while now but the slaves are just like 42million gold for lvl 60 and for 20 its like 120000,maybe reduce the prices?

everything is good except i wish I could make up more classes with equipment instead of dual weapon guy, a two handed warrior ,a sword-shield guy and a spear man hope you could add some more equipment to create more type of classes
