Got a blue bar after winning a match at carthage with one gladiator but after i "forged" it at the blacksmith and left the game, both the blue bar and the new item was gone. Sad panda...

I show no mercy in order to get extra loot...and I don't get any loot at all. In general, the loot isn't worth anything. Or the money from the "goals". Give at least one good loot per match, and money tenfold.

Yeah, everybody knows that throwing a javelin at someone's arm is much easier than throwing it at his body. Esapecially frustrating since the main cause of losing is exactly this : getting your arms or legs ripped off in 1 shot by a javelin throw.

I can't start a new game. I make a character, then it goes into a battle with no enemy, and then I automatically lose. Then I'm introduced to the city but I can't go anywhere or fight anyone and then nothing happens. This game is broken :(

in the end the enemy is overpowerig i dont know how their stats are used but i hev 3 lvl 60 guys with the best armor i could find i have been trying for days every kind of combination to get my double weapons guy as strong as the enemy, but the 4hitter enemy attacks always seem to hit and have 1 critical in them while my attacks no matter how i put my stats have a 50% hit chance and miss all the time and if they hit do less damage than the enemy D: how do i beat those derps

Isn't it a bit ridiculous that when you get up to a high level and then look in the slave market and they are 104,000 gold each? I mean come on, even if i did all the challenges and not buy anything i would still not have the much money. Making the slave market at high levels useless. Please make it a more suitable price like 30,000 for each or something cause that it out most ridiculous.

I learned shield bash so that if I can't use my javelin, I can use my shield, but in auto my players only use crowd appeal instead of shield bash...

This game has a lot of great potential, but unfortunately, it's riddled with issues. The auto A.I. on your team is dumb, the slave market is extremely overpriced, level progression is rather slow, and the enemies in the late game get absolutely ridiculous, especially the contender battles in Rome. For example, the shield users are painfully frustrating as they can become invincible with shield bash and counter attack your moves and regen their hp at the same time, or if you start a battle with dual wielders, they will usually take out one or sometimes, two of your gladiators on the first turn.
Like I said before, the game has a lot of great potential, but for now, the game is barely above average for me.

sometimes when i use protect, it doesn't do anything, everyone simply continues to attack that ally without any interferance, while other times, the protector takes the damage for them (which is obviously supposed to happen. can you look into this?

Contrary to popular belief, the emperor did not give a thumbs up or down for a gladiator as a signal to kill his enemy. The emperor (and only the emperor) would give an open or closed hand – if his palm was flat, it meant “spare his life”, if it was closed, it meant “kill him”. If a gladiator killed his opponent before the emperor gave his permission, the gladiator would be put on trial for murder, as only the emperor had the right to condemn a man to death. In the image above we see this myth in action.

When you buy the slave, the stats and skills resets to 0, so you can manually redistribute all his stats. The slave market guy distribute stats randomly but once you get it, you get a free redistribute so you can upgrade the slave like you want. NOT TRUE!!!!!

Need some help understanding the goals. example: Win 5 contender battles (in Athena). What is a Contender battle? I won 8 battles in Athena so far but the status is still 0/5.

I find it hard to fight in the Tarsus and Syracus Stadiums. I wish we could buy the same equipment that they have. I can't win a single fight. Also, stronger arms would be helpful.

Playing the June 13th updated version now, and about the only complaint I can make is that it isn't clear what it takes to accomplish some of the Goals. The Goal in Massillia, for example, to "dismbowel 10 gladiators." I'm killing them by attacking the torsos, but that doesn't seem to be enough. do I need to score the killing blow with a specific weapon type, like a trident? Make it clear what the Goals are, and I'll do them.

Just a bit of historical stuff here, if the emperor used the 'thumbs down' sign, what he meant was lay down your arms or mercy. Thumbs up meant go on kill 'em.

I register in Kong te save the game but when I get startend on my saved game the game flashes and get black the game screen, I think starandold talks about the same problem.

I think that there should be bosses that are bigger and stronger and take more strategy. Also im having trouble playing it more than once like it saves but when i hit play it starts a new game.

I found a glitch... right before the fight button 3 question marks appear and when i click fight it goes back to the choose team page but i cannot click on anything

You should have some sort of end battle option or auto end battle after x turns
I am currently in a loop where I have a guy set to auto and both my guy and the opponents last guy are crowd appealing, while my guy is occasionally using intimidate. This has been going on for a while and neither one is taking any damage in any form
