You shouldn't be able to drive between the roadblocks because it put me from first to last. I laso don't get why it turns you around when you get hit by an item.

While overall the experience was enjoyable, I have several complaints about this game.
First, the fact that similar items stack effects was not explained and may confuse players. Second, it is difficult to find different tracks and courses. Third, while there is a lack of rubberband AI (And rightfully so!) the game still suffers from Mario Kart syndrome of insuring that with enough luck your opponent can outrace you by spamming the lightning bolt despite your perfect race performance otherwise.
Just some things to consider. At the moment it's a solid 3/5. Would be 4 with more music and better handling. (Especially entering alleyways)

Why are so many people rating this 4/5, even when the driving is terrible? Everything about this game is bad. Stop rating games with such obvious flaws high, people.

How come the bombs and minds only barely slow down the computers, but if I get hit by one it makes me spin out and point backwards.

4/5. I would have given it a 5/5 if it wasn't so damn easy to spin out. Computer cars barely bump you and you go spinning. You plow into them on boost and they barely move. Not to mention the occasional hiccup of catching the edge on a turn and wind up facing the completely opposite direction...

The more I play it, the more the run-off-the-road-based AI is infuriating me. This game is deeply, deeply flawed on higher levels.

it would be a 5/5 game if the physics and actually turning and such as a car, wasn't so messed up. The bombs were almost totally pointless, and different kinds of weapons would rock, or maybe instead of finding them on the track, you can buy em, and have a little box on the track that charges them, more elaborate upgrades and maybe different chassis types would rock.

It's got two kind of nasty problems. One is that the only non-weapon racing strategy the AI seems to use is "ramming you off the road," which works really well for them as a sacrificial move but is basically impossible for you to use. And so for the bulk of the race, you're just trying not to get spun around and sent off-course.
The other problem is that there's no option to quit or retry a race in progress! You even have to finish out ones you completely bomb and have no hope of winning. That's an awful omission. Ever play the Tony Hawk games?

you folks are all overly critical...this game is running in "Flash" not on a PS3 or XBOX360. Given that it's a Flash-based game I think it's pretty damn cool. I had a lot of fun playing it.

Turning is screwed up when reversing.
Have you ever even driven a car? I suggest you do that before you make a racing game. Honestly.

Nice graphics and all, but do you think you could have spent some time working on physics, AI, and collision detection? If you get slightly nudged, you turn completely around! These mistakes almost surely cost you the race, but there's no way to quit midrace, or restart, so you have to do the whole thing anyway. This game sucks.

Ehhh... kind of boring after the first encounter with Big Dog. I maxed out my entire car before even reaching the 2nd race. I think more upgrades/classes would be cooler. 4/5, though for the awesome graphics and pretty solid environment. I didn't see too much in the way of bugs/glitches etc.

Needs a real ending, and maybe more upgrades. It seems like I was fully upgraded long before the end of the game, and then I just kept accumulating money for no reason.
