to the people saying "why are people complaining about player killers? just look at minimap and ignore them." well...you know what? you are totally right because: a.) my minimap can totally tell the difference between quest related npc ships and angry power players b.) I can see them but there's no way my own ship would ever ever show up on their minimap c.)my standard ship is So very much faster than their real money fueled generators d.) the minimap does not lag at all whatsoever so i can see what's coming from any direction. yup

i dont like most space games except for one star trek one. eve is fun online but it gets way to compicated and time consuming. but this. this is probably the worst browserbased spaceship game ive played so far. personally i like starfighter disputed galaxy a lot more. this game dosent have enough variety in ships. Its whoever has the biggest ship wins. and for these reasons i dont like the game. ill give it a 2/5 for still being decent enough to actually play

You guys don't respect this game. Yes, maybe I've sat here for about 30 minutes waiting for it to load, but its still a great game. Besides, it has a great part about it. Noobs who don't know what or how good the item they're buying is will fail and you can easily kill them. You need to spend your money wisely. And read the description you stupid people.

the transport module is a D I C K.. u can earn collect/refine resources in the lab and it take 1 hr to load 600 out and theres no upgrade to improve it.. its the only thing that cannot be upgraded.. wtf is the point of it anyway, u can carry the stuff on ur ship ,a slow garbage transport module is so F U C K ing rediculous

This game fails. There should be pvp modes or zones, so new players can actually leave the first map without being immediately destroyed and having to spend the Uridium stuff (which appears to be the games "real money" credit) to be resurrected.

This game is pointless and stupid. Whoever is willing to waste the most money has the biggest advantage, and it supports a system where people can freely go and kill whoever the hell they want, and that person is then crippled to the point of hardly being able to even play it any more. On top of that, it's bog standard, with no skill required to play at all, and it's boring. 1/5

IF you ask me, don't play this game. Anything by BigPoint is always having a character that walks/flies around, breaks open crates, collects the stuff, does grinding quests, and fights other people. The worst part? It's another one of those freaking games where you have to pay for it. I mean, come on! This site even says "Play ______, a free game on Kongregate" Sure it's free to play, but not the whole version. Also like many others said there's no newbie protection or any of that crap needed to make a good mmo. Stick to independent developers.

Quite good idea and design totally wasted by poor gameplay with lame power players killing anyone at sight. Wouldn't spend a cent on it, because it's kind of games I call "pay us more or fight with stick".

if you want to play this game for real, just go to www.darkorbit.com and join the usa servers, west or east, global(USA) if you want a lot of people to play against, join global, smaller communities in west and east, but this is pretty much an old server and there are more you can join at said link.
And it is not that bad of a game. Sure, theres a lot of $ involved if you want to be a top player(compensating), but just read the DO bible and start shooting stuff in the lowers, level up and get to the uppers, gain credits and uri, pick up bonus boxes, and your gona get up there. But mostly i play for the clan i'm in, thats pretty much it. I don't even look at my rank or what my rank points say. Sorry for long comment. Hope you like the game ;)

It has been said, and I'll say it again. Remove the ability for people to camp at newbie zones and kill off everyone to prevent them from starting up/having fun. Would rate this 1/5 if it didn't give me a point, but I certainly do not enjoy flying out and getting one-hit killed.

1/5 The game is good but you cant go any where if you're new I flied around for 20 minutes and than these larger ships came outa no where and killed me Than every time i tried to advance in the game I die and i'm not going to spend real money so I can be able to repair my ship after it dieing every 10 seconds from these ships.
