That was a work of art. If you ever make another game like this, I'll be happy to play it.
I loved the subtle humour dotted throughout the game; it made it that much more enjoyable.

Ahoy there!
I must say, sometimes games in this style can be repetitve and lack the ability to keep the gamer interested 'till the end... But I really did enjoy this game! The story was nice, however, I mainly just loved all the little comments (Cats are awsome) and 'easter eggs' found within the game. They really made it fun for me.
Thanks for the chuckles.

Thanks. Really enjoyed the game. Sometimes Point & Click games are annoying because there is little or no logic to the action needed to move the game/story along. So, I really loved that your game had a great storyline & logical steps to go through it. Fun and relaxing.
Yup, I tried to make the puzzles as organic as possible; I dislike overly-complicated puzzles for puzzles' sake. Only very rare games (like Curse of Monkey Island) can make those work, and that's mostly because of the humour. If you're interested, check out Sanitarium and Day of the Tentacle, those have excellent puzzles. Also, Sanitarium has one of the awesomest stories ever ever :D

I always hated and loved these philosophical games. They're almost always kinda sad, but at the same time they show you how to live life to it's fullest, or something similar... They're so simple, yet difficult to understand sometimes... Only if there were more of games like this, this world would be a little better place than it is now...
Well, this is just a game. I actually like it most when people just enjoy the experience without overthinking it. And I have to tell you a secret... shhh... The world is already a good place ;) You just need to change your perspective. People tend to think in black and white, and shades of grey. But they forget about all the other colours :D And yes, I respond to comments fast :D

I really enjoyed this game!! Very cool concept with everything being hand-drawn, and great execution. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in how cool the design and concept is, or how interesting the story is, but forget the actual game. You guys didn't lose sight of anything, and even made me laugh a couple times (loved the evil wizard!). Loved it!
The secret ingredient? You just have to be really passionate about everything you're doing. Immerse yourself. And you need to have fun. Mix those three together and EVERYTHING else will fall into place. Doesn't matter if it's a book, a movie or a game, it WILL work.

One of the most frustrating things is playing a game for about 2 hours, then coming back a week later to find it has badges...
When you hear (read) me talk about Norman in the comments, I'm usually talking about the bug ;) Now you will never be able to meet another Norman without laughing in his face :D :D :D

Thank you so much for such a beautiful game, which almost brought me to tears at the end : ) 5/5, absolutely, stunningly, beautiful

5/5 I loved this game! Loved the drawings, the story and the characters. Would very much like to see a sequel or a game of a similar style. :)

I was crying by the end of it. Not sobbing or making noise, just gentle tears. The message is so moving, and hit me personally as well.
Beautiful. Just really, really beautiful. That peaceful, serene kind of beautiful. The kind I haven't seen or, more accurately, felt in a long, long time.
Thank you for sharing it with us.

Great game (though I don't think the word 'game' suits it well enough). Has a nice story, pleasent drawings and some good precepts/ideas in it. All in one, 5/5 ; my congratulations to the creators.
Well, it is definitely a game. An adventure. I wasn't trying to make anything artsy, just a game I would have wanted to play :) In the end, that's all one can do.

A wonderful game. The plot is emotional and the story is just all around good. Thank you for a great story to pass the time with!

I originally clicked on this because of the hand-drawn scenes. They're so rare in Flash games that I decided the novelty value made it worth it. The story was unique and lovely and I felt that the messages were so true for this modern age. Also, the music was nice. Very relaxing. 5/5

Congrats! I've played many Kongregate games....too many....and I'm pretty sure this is the first one I've rated 5 stars. Sure, it's not a fancy MMO RPG or some elaborate card game but there's so many of those things...This game's beauty is in it's simplicity and uniqueness. Love it! Going to make my boyfriend play it.

"... cacophony of colours..."? That makes no sense.
Cacophony has to do with sounds...not sight...
Go learn the words you use, and then go learn to draw better while you're at it, as well.

This not at all what I was expecting. Absolutely beautiful, and very thought provoking. Time to find my blue flower and nurture it. Thank you so much! 5/5 stars
There's a link to the whole soundtrack in the game description! But, here it is again: http://www.blackolivegame s.com/games/tgr/stuff/The GreyRainbowSoundtrack.zip

It was the first point and click game I ever finished playing without feeling bored. It really changed me, inspire me and made me hopeful. I love how the game's message was encrypted throughout the game. The colour of life, patience in changing and hope. Thanks a lot :)
You're welcome. It's nice to have people realize the game works on many levels. Foremost, it's an adventure. There is meaning behind it, but it's integrated into the story - the adventure itself is the message ;)

'''Grilling a frog on a skewer''' gave me the curiosity to go on, lol!
Joking apart, it's a fact that the story is nice, but much text to read. Music background is nice, but makes me sleepy. So I thought (for a following episode?) that it would be nice to include a 'reader', a story-teller with a real voice...?
