Great game (though I don't think the word 'game' suits it well enough). Has a nice story, pleasent drawings and some good precepts/ideas in it. All in one, 5/5 ; my congratulations to the creators.
Well, it is definitely a game. An adventure. I wasn't trying to make anything artsy, just a game I would have wanted to play :) In the end, that's all one can do.

I must say, sometimes games in this style can be repetitve and lack the ability to keep the gamer interested 'till the end... But I really did enjoy this game! The story was nice, however, I mainly just loved all the little comments (Cats are awsome) and 'easter eggs' found within the game. They really made it fun for me.

It's not really her fault. Her understanding is very different from our own, considering what she is, so she takes for granted certain things that the main character can't yet cope with.

(wow, they allow super long comments)... All in all a nice game, especially as it is your first one. I usually don't rate/comment games at all, but how you respond to all feedbacks at your 2nd game was convincing me the most and made me wonder about your 1st. going to play the other again and leave you a super-long comment there too if you don't mind :D

I was skeptical when you said the game would take a couple hours to completeโฆand startled to realize that it actually did. This is an incredible story--a little word-heavy even for me, but still really good. I feel sorry for the squirrel (guess the "happiness potion" is a temporary solution).

I always hated and loved these philosophical games. They're almost always kinda sad, but at the same time they show you how to live life to it's fullest, or something similar... They're so simple, yet difficult to understand sometimes... Only if there were more of games like this, this world would be a little better place than it is now...
Well, this is just a game. I actually like it most when people just enjoy the experience without overthinking it. And I have to tell you a secret... shhh... The world is already a good place ;) You just need to change your perspective. People tend to think in black and white, and shades of grey. But they forget about all the other colours :D And yes, I respond to comments fast :D

I actually cried at the ending, it was very beautiful. The whole game was very convincing an mysterious. I liked it very much :) Please don'tstop makin games, i now have played both your first and second game, and they are equally as good :) I really lked the hints in this game, if you were feelingcompletely lost you could just click on it and you didn't have to Watch a Whole walkthrough video )

Okay, so I talk to the Tree of Death, and then I lose the ability to click? What the hell?
I've reloaded several times and it happens each time. I'm running Firefox on Windows, if that matters.
Hmm, this is the first time I've heard about this problem. What's weird is that there is no chapter change after the Tree, all you get is the seed in your inventory. Off the top of my head, you can try enabling all the cookies in you browser and maybe disabling max security (if you have it on) in your browser.

Awesome game! Fun art, fun story, and fun to play.
However, I just gotta say one thing: a land of color tied to magic, where everybody has "Breath" with a capitol "B"? Has anyone else here read "Warbreaker"?
I understand Easter Eggs are fun and references a great if you catch them, but this is only a couple of steps from being able to be called "Warbreaker: the Flash Game".
Anyhoo, still a great game. 5/5.
It has absolutely no relation to Warbreaker! It's just a name for a kiss. EDIT: if I had called the kiss 'Essence' or somesuch, noone would mention Sanderson, but the game would still be the same.

Easy a 5/5. I only meant to take a short break and it ended up being an hour! Thanks to the two of you for making this game, sounds like you've got a good creative rapport going on. Only quibble was the accidental double click thing, seems like something that could be fixed pretty easily by just adding a t a hard choice!

It's odd that many of the characters in the storyline don't comment on the protagonist's greyness. If I lived in a land of colour, I would ensure grey people were racialized.

I will never forget this game... even though i loved the story i have to admit if someone asks me about the game my first answer will most likely be "Ah, you are talking of the game with the alcoholic squirrel!" And i have to admit i really tried to find a way to get the "evil" wizard and the potion maker together but i sadly didn't found one :)

I liked this game, and especially liked all of the devotion it prompts from fans. I did not have any problem with the art or the amount of text, but I did have a problem with the readability of the typeface. The text is too small, and not an easy font to read.
Yeah, so people tell me :( It was fine for me and the betatesters (i.e. my friends), but now I wish I could have made the font larger. Unfortunately, doing it at this stage would mess every single dialogue up, and I don't have time to fix it from the ground up... But the font fits the mood sooo much ;)

Just out curiosity, is the first character named Tom after two of Tiziano Sclavi's books, "Le etichette delle camicie" and "Non รจ successo niente"? Since he looks like Dylan Dog I guessed there could be a further reference to its creator ^^
I wouldn't know. Never read it. I remember seeing the movie, but also remember disliking it; even though the message was nice, it felt too sloppily done and had a terrible soundtrack.

Wow... what a beautiful game. Good mix of adventure, philosophy and humor. Good story-telling, lovely characters, very imaginative places and quests. Fitting music, even if it gets a little repetivive. The only point of criticizm (imho) are the graphics. While I really like the handdrawn style, the variying quality of the drawings was a little disturbing - some things were drawn very well and detailed while others looked a little poor and messy. Maybe you could put a little more effort in a consistent style of drawing... that would be awesome. You could use better outlines (stronger, a little darker) for example, variying in size and strength. I think that would fit to the crayons. Anyway, nice game, 5/5. I'd love to see more. :)
Oh... but next time you should make it PEGI18... that wizzard's brick was REALLY evil. So scary...

I gave it 5 stars although i wish that it wasn't this easy. I was expecting me to have to revisit older locations later on, i even wrote down what colors do, thinking i would have to use the colors later on, etc. The best area was the oasis for my taste (i mean because of the puzzle there).
Ah. It was my first adventure game; I just wanted people to enjoy the story, and puzzles that are easier to solve. I hadn't really had a good feel for puzzles in the beginning; I kept thinking they were too hard, so I made them easier. That's why, as the game progressed, the puzzles became better (we did the game sequentially - first the mountain, then the town, etc.), because I was getting more confident with the puzzles.
Note from the developer: ...and I was letting him do more bizarre puzzles as my framework evolved because at first I thought this would be a simple adventure game...but then if it was simple it wouldn't be fun :) So I made possible to add more different game mechanics which were used for clever puzzles!

Note: there's no way to actually mess up on desert to the point you have to reload the game, all stuff there can be made white again by using it at the lake near the bettle, that also fixes the staff in case you've broken it.

wow...this is a rare game. One that, once you're done, leaves you feeling amazed. The storyline was awesome; easily equal to Brandon Sanderson (he is one of the best authors out there). The gameplay itself was hard enough to be fun, but easy enough that it was not "rage quit". I loved it, and would love to see more like it. 100/5
Interesting, you bringing up Sanderson. Did you notice who I credited in the, umm... credits? And we all know which series Mr. Sanderson just recently brought to a close...

Truly amazing game. Since I'm a sucker for point and click adventures, playing this was a no-brainer, but a game that is as captivating as this only comes once in a while. I deeply wish i could award it with more than 5/5.
