I have to say, I love games of this style, and am looking forward to the real thing! I think trying to collect the orbs was a nice touch, and added a bit of a challenge :)

Agreed with the previous comments - pretty linear but I have to say this game is beautiful. And also the sound it fantastic. It would be nice to see some more interactions rather than just go walk the valley to the quarry and back - some small puzzles, button interactions or alternative routes would be nice. Really, really looking forward to the final product, this is a terrific taster.

You get another orb at the very beginning. After leaving the first screen to find your parents, return and you will see the spider leave an orb.

If we hit the bullseye the rest of the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-WHW-QNswE

Oh and for those who don't know what I meant...google Limbo game. The original masterpiece from where lots of details are copied here(including the spider, come on...)
I'd like to note that Limbo is NOT "original" nor is it what inspired this game. There are many great games that are made in this style, most of which came before limbo. In-fact, the inspiration for this game is called "Coma", which in it's turn, was inspired by "Nevermore".
The spider was a coincidence (I mean really, spider's are probably one of the most common "scary creatures" used in all media) that I noted while playing limbo, halfway through the development of this game. I decided not to change my plans just because of limbo, and I apologize if anyone is upset about that.

I didn't really get into the atmosphere of the game, probably because we get that we are dreaming from the start and there isn't really that much dialogue or action in the game. Seemed like it could have been one of my own dreams though and the art alone gives it a 5/5 imo, worth playing and replaying in case you didn't get all the orbs
