A great little game. Has a few bugs, but it is to be expected with an ambitious project like this. I'm certain that if this game were packaged for Steam, (which I WOULD like to see), these wrinkles would be ironed out. I played this game years ago, and keep coming back every now and then for replay value. B+ to A- :)

large mansion is a high class house which needs basicly everything nearby, furniture, tools, different types of food, religion,...

Endlessly loops the opening logos and returns to the "play" menu. Might've been interesting, but only if it actually starts. Sounds like it needed bugfixing in any case.

Game's too glitched to give a good rating. I'd like to give it a 3.5, but I've watched a stone mine burn for a year now despite being surrounded by fire departments. So, 1/5

You get a monastery! You get a monastery! Everybody gets a monastery! Seriously though, I had problems with emigration due to lack of religion, and I built monasteries/churches every block. They still keep leaving. I understand that this is a very old game and am not expecting a fix, but I am looking forward to the next one.

Good game, but my serfs all keep leaving and there is no documentation/tutorial anywhere for me to look at for help. 4/5, but needs a much better tutorial, or at least some documentation in the game info.

"Sir, the noblemen are complaining about the education level of their class."
"I don't understand. There's a quartet of libraries nearby every mansion."
"Yes sir. But they say they're all missing the copies of 'Ivanhoe' and until they show up they refuse to get educated."
"What? Those blackguards! BUILD MORE DUNGEONS NOW!!"

Need to balance the game a bit more. Maybe get more indepth about resources. from being able to sell bread, meat rum and so on. Make accumulating gold easier. And make resource gathering of workers more organized.

How on earth do I get the town score up to 91? The serfs are whining about health, but they won't go to doctors and there's a street cleaner on nearly every corner.

A great game ,and idea. But the game says crazy and does crazy things. For exsample, my town center has been on fire for months, and inspected alot, yet they cant figure out it is on fire...
This game is a great idea though, and still fun. I say 4/5

RPG stats and character classes, medieval ones like Knight, Rogue & Cleric mayhap; could enrich the experience for us MMO&RPG brainwashed fellows...

this seems to much like Anno to me with the lower class houses and upper class houses anyone else thought that as well?

Good game ;) ...
I got a big town population ~2000 bit lower, slowly im running out of space ... now what ? ... guess it was fun while it lasted <3

I dont see zoom out- zoom in buttons, if theres is one nvm, if theres isnt, adding them for a general far view from the town would nice

I had like 20 or 30 monestary's and 3 churches and my town wasn't satisfied oh and both skullfighter and nate30030 I noticed that to.(wwwwwwwttttttttttfffffffffff ):(

I played a round of sandbox game, and i got a lot of stone ore on the level, but no iron ore. Making it impossible to create tools and evolve middle/high class houses. Maybe there's some way of trading iron that i haven't found yet or something? Anyway seems like a silly bug if its unintended.

Small tents to evolve: Fire office and get a farm and bakery. Middle Class house: Get a blacksmith, fire office and 2-3 kinds of food (Bread, wheat, meat or fish). Upper Class house- Blacksmith, carpenter, and a fire office, 3-4 kinds of food and make ALL classes to be employed at a good rate.

Umm, shouldn't basic resources not require themselves so that you can create them? The lumberyard, sawmill and carpenter all require wood.

This is bs. There's no way a population od 947 needs more than three churches. Mine has 4 churches and 5 monasteries and the game is still whining about not having enough religions. Meanwhile, there's almost no entertainment or health(cause I'm wasting all my resources on religion) but, nobody's threatening to emigrate over that.

Well, I fixes my serf problem and have moved on. Some thoughts for future development: maybe have the service and industry buildings evolve. A doctor's office could become a clinic and the a hospital. A school could become a university. A blacksmith's shop could become a factory, etc. I have library attached to the monastery - it could become a seminary. Do the fish count as food, industry or trade? Excess fish could become fertilizer to turn unproductive land into farms.

Nice game but we need a better tutorial. I reach a certain stage and then start lowing lower class workers for no discernible reason. The lower classes are unhappy with their schools and entertainment no matter how many schools and taverns I build. And farms and industries that need lower class workers start losing their workforce, so the town starts running out of food. Building more serf housing just compounds the problem. And this is on easy.
