It's possible to "combine" two different weapons. Start with the saw, and let the 6 point saw and 2 "following" saw activate. Switch to homing or something else and the saws remain as an excellent defense system.

awesome ! but the homing missile is too over powered at level 5 you just need to get 2 of those weird green things and everything is dead. the shuriken is also quite crazy but the last upgrade was a deception. great game 5/5

Very nice! At first i bought and upgraded the weapons just to see how more awesome they can get, later i found it useful to switch between weapons to take on different enemies. The contracting circles which announce new enemies is something i wish to see more often, in most other games enemies can just spawn on top of you and kill you without a warning

So I don't know if this is a bug or intentional, but every now and then my "light" becomes extremely slow. I'm at 4/5 speed at the moment and whenever this speed degradation happens, I almost always die in the later levels. It does sort of take away all the fun this game was causing.

Noone seems to have posted a comment on the mach. gun yet, so I thought I would. Pls vote up if you like! Machinegun. lvl 1 fast firing med damage. lvl 2 faster firing rate. lvl 3 faster firing rate, stronger, blue bubbles spawn randomly, when they are shot they cause small explosion. lvl 4 wider shots much faster firing rate, 2nd set of projectiles, and big bubbles with arrows in them. if you shoot the arrow bubbles, it amplifies your shots by a large amount. lvl 5 is lvl 4 doubled, as well as your bullets peirce, and cause damage just by getting close to the enemies, also get arrow bubbles with triangles spinning around them, if you shoot them its like a regular arrow bubble, except the shots get psudo strong. this game is good... and ppl... if u like good near by defence (front and back) choose shuriken... lvl 1:a regular sized shuriken lvl 2: 2 regular sized shurikens and 2 extra ones 3:3 regulaur sized shurikens 3 extra ones and 3 other small ones with a bussaw 4: same as 3 but with 2 buzzsaws.. lvl 5: same as 4 but whe nu shoot u get 2 spinnignrazors around u for awesome defence!

I love the game. Simply great. A good end-level interface as well, which a replay, next level, level select and upgrades. It would be awesome if there was a 'stats' page, with enemies killed, types of enemies killed, shots fired from each weapon, how many 'superpowers' from each weapon used, favourite weapon, etc.

Game is really quite impressive. Good music, nice graphics, not ridiculously difficult but really challenging if you're trying to perfect on hard. Never had any issues with bugs or upgrade costs, key is to focus on one weapon and not spread around if you don't like replaying levels. (And homing is the win button). 5/5 for me, nice to see another Unity game that's a good game and not just a 3D showcase.

@abysoft the enemie are meant to be spawned on you...ur just lazy and can't finish this game:) I played the whole game and there are NO bugs! 0 I said:)! Enemies spawn on you so it's more diff. to complete it...so it makes it an EPIC shooter game!:)

so the speed upgrade prices go 50 ok nice and cheap, 100, ok 100 makes sense for the next one, 1000 getting a bit costly now but still pretty reasonable, 50,000!!! WTF? Y U SO EXPENSIVE

Ok getting a little further into the game, and I have to revise it downward due to a major game play defect. Enemies spawn right on top of you. -1 now 2/5 fix and I'll review again until that I'm done with it.

Epic... first weapon last level=super flamethrower... homing weapon last level= 10 big homing bullets and after enough kills you get a tower which you need to stand on to fire 6 mega homing bullets... machine gun last level=5 minigun bullets per sec and 5 cicle bullets per sec, you see bubbles which after you shoot become bigger and explode after enough hits and you find giant floating towers which you shoot at and they make your bullets qaudripled the size and power... shuriken last level=3 super rebounders, 3 super fast moving bouners, the saw thing with 2 saws, and 2 ginormous saws that follow you on your left and right.

Great game really fun, but if you're going to tag your game as great music, make the music louder than the not so great (as of Repetition) sound effects. 4/5
And before i get comments telling me to turn off sound effects, i would like to have the sound so that i can still know when stuff is being killed off-screen.

As for the machinegun weapon, Level 1 is well, a machine gun... Fast shooting gun with high dps. Level 2 is an upgraped machine gun. Faster, stronger. As for level 3, it's even faster and a lot stronger. Plus, there are bubbles all over the screen that you can shoot, creating explosions that only harm ennemies. Level 4, you now have a triple like machine gun, covering a lot more range (wider). There is also sometimes a big shooting bubble that shoot with an as strong as your weapon gun. Level 5, the main weapon of level 4 is now double, plus it shoots even faster with even greater damage. Big bubbles semm to appear more, but I'm not sure thouh... Hope it helped !

Sorry, but I don't go for the "Unity3D Web Plugin", especially on a game that looks like it doesn't need it. I don't care how "safe" or "free" it is. If I wanted to play games with amazing graphics/sound and realistic physics on a platform that's easy to install, I'd buy an Xbox. Or y'know, just NOT have to let the Unity3D plugin report my information to whoever for whatever reason.
I play flash games because they're simple, quick, accessible, and showcase some of the brightest minds of our generation. So, I gave this a low score, due to the reliance on Unity3D and the fact that it's a pretty basic top-down shooter with flashing lights and a broken upgrades system. Seems it lags terribly on some computers and with Unity3D being a core component, Bluffman's target audience is slashed by 2/3.
I haven't even played it. Somehow, though, I get the feeling I don't have to.

Its like asteroids, and a lightbright had a kid, then that kid went and pissed off a bunch of shapes, and found a dealer for cool upgrades. With amazingly high quality graphics and music.

After trying all of the weapons I would say from best to worst: machine gun (arrow bubbles double as shields from attacks), homing missile (massive dps plus some combos), lancer (weak dps), shuriken (no range)

the steps of machinegun (the best weapon if you are at lvl 4 or lvl 5!)
level 1: normal with average speed shots you
Level 2: same as lvl 1 so that faster
level 3: shoots faster longer shots and and shoot bubbles are larger
Level 4: same as 3 so it's faster and can build turrets that make your shot more damage and greater
level 5 the best weapon!: same as lvl 4 so that even faster! and he can create SUPER turrets that make your shooting even bigger and you can control (you can move super turret) and it's much more damage!
