controls are very unresponsive 2. it seem like they really rushed this game. y character keeps running after I stop or I cant move after an attack I have to keep clicking onscreen to fix it. leaves me open to attack

the game is really glitchy. I keep getting stuck on the side of the screen. I think its the boundaries or something. the only way out is to die.

"A" doesn't work. The game started when I clicked on "press a to start" with the mouse. I can move with the arrow keys, but I can't attack. Any ideas what is going on?

I'm sorry, I don't often leave negative comments, but this was not a good game. At all. Like other commenters said, the controls do not work well, it is extremely hard to jump up to platforms quickly enough to avoid random beard laser thing, and above all there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for any of it.

this games final achievement is actually not super hard as someone else pointed out you get xp for hitting tombstones gather 3 or 4 together and hit the tombstones and mr beard dude along with them and ull be a lollipop wielding terror in no time

Guys After Hitting Tom To +4~ +7 XP Stay Away From The Wind Mill/Medusa Beard Atk.(Note You need Timing If You Miss Aproximatly 1.5~2 Sec) Then Just Go Behind Tom Before His Second Atk Ended. Then Go Under Higher Platforms. At His Skull Mode Just Run And Atk Him After He Release Fire Like This Crap if You Want Just To Help.

You have to find the sequence of your enemy's moves, and position yourself accordingly. In the process, you get yourself killed and have to start all over again. No xp, no updates, no checkpoints, no progress whatsoever. Even if you die one second before killing the beard, you have to start again. Where is the fun in that? 2/5 stars, and that's generous.

wow,i have played this game on fog.com,i love new grounds game and the leveling up of the hero,thanks to BoMToons to bring this game to kongregate and tip is always keep moving from the boss and keep jumping around,i give this game 5/5 :)

This has some of the worst, most unresponsive controls I've ever encountered in a game. This is frustrating and awful.

Good Game but after figuring out his attacks its so easy
TIPS:
1) Don't go on higher platform
2) Attack him and grave's when possible
3) Hit him from behind when he lazer attacking
4) For the hard achievement do all the above dont die untill skull
5) suicide attack the skull for speed

A little tip to achieve hard badge: when the face is turning into skull just spam hit over the skull, there is a kind of bug : skull stop moving and stop spamming spell ! very fast 2nd phase. Quote to top this hint :)

Personally i hated commands: they are too woody, i think the space bar would be much better to jump. What a pity, this game could be very funny...

Tip: When Tom is in his first form (Still has a beard) His pattern will be Tongue, Tongue, Laser (Half health) Tongue, Tongue/Spin beard, Laser (3rd Quarter) Tongue, Tongue/Spin beard, Laser , Bread drop.
Then when he is in his second form (Skull)
He will move Right, Middle, Left, Right, Middle, Left and so on...

this is a fun game to play, the controls are not. Fix the responsiveness of the movement buttons, when I Push jump, the guy should jump.
