is the 99999 exp upgrade thing a sign that it is maxed or can you get a extremely awesome, epic, overlord sword/armor/magic upgrade? O.o

Defeating the final boss for those having a problem or two (or three....)
Step 1) Max your sword... Forget about the armor and the magic, go straight for the sword, when you get to the boss, you should have a lv 6-7 (or if you grind hard) 8 weapon that's gonna spare you a lot of troubles.
2) Balls of fire... Lots of them, the key is standing still and JUMPING, jump a lot to see them coming, simply run head-deep into the fireball coming next to you, with appropriate timing you can get in the same spot where the ball landed without turning into a flambè knight. Repeat for the second ball.
3) Climb the stairs and get to the "demon". Repeat the dodge-trick I explained in part 2. Done
4) At this point the demon is easy as slicing a pizza (which may result difficult with an unproper knife ... - Reason to upgrade your rusty sword - ), just stand where you are and bash the demon's face everytime it flies toward you. (There wasn't enough space to make the miniguide longer, Enjoy!)

BOSS TIPS (PART 2/3): RED GUARDIAN: After getting Attack at least 5, Defense at least 6, just whale on him as much as possible. The combos will kill him. GREEN GUARDIAN: Whenever he is about to come jump to the top platform where he cannot hurt you can wait till he passes by. Then go to the side opposite the side he is heading to and hit two of the boulders at him. The boulders always alternate between shooting left and right, and always stand a little bit back. He should die after around 8 boulders. PURPLE GUARDIAN: This is where getting your magic leveled up is handy. Pick one of the two platforms and stay on it the whole time. Enable your fireball attack and constantly shoot at him. Whenever he whirlwinds by jump over him. Eventually you'll run out of magic, but by that time he should have such a small amount of health (and you will have full health) so you can just whale on him to kill him.

That point where you battle, where his eye is only left and you have to destroy it, made me uncomfortably sad... The background music was cut and you hear nothing but you beating the crap out of him. It's, painful.

I mean, why do you have to slay him? Because of some prophecy? Because... why? The poor thing is literally nothing but an eye.
Unless of course, it's still capable of killing people in that state, but it obviously can't. IT just waits there, until you KILL HIM... :(
Though, 5/5.. The sounds made giggle of its cuteness XD

You should make it so you can skip the credits after beating the game twice because I just keep beating the final boss to see all the upgrades but it takes forever :P

@ bogey40: It's not impossible, but I guess it depends on how you level. I nearly neglected magic altogether and leveled Attack & Armor. After passing the final boss, I had: Sword lvl 7, Armor lvl 7, and Magic lvl 2. You first need to calculate how the fireballs fall and squeeze in between them. I destroyed the two below, then proceeded for the one above. When all three pillars are destroyed, stay where the highest pillar was and attack the monster's eyes. while evading the fireballs. you'll notice that the timing has change, and the space between fireballs is now larger. Use your magic for healing if necessary. I believe that the final part, which is the eye alone, was just meant for the player to enjoy killing the monster since it didn't do anything. Hope it helps you get the final boss done!

After playing this game some more, I noticed certain sound effect even sound Zelda-ish. btw 5/5 from me! Kong needs more games like this! Simple, fun, and a little challenging too. How about a max level on everything badge, or a badge that requires to beat the game with less than a certain amount of deaths? That would be cool.

either needs to respawn enemies in the dungeon or addthe option to reallocate upgrades. if you don't upgrade your defence enough, the final boss is nearly impossible and grinding monsters anywhere but the dungeon would take hours. i've decided it'd probably be faster to just completely start over to upgrade my defence. would probably be faster than grinding the little guys.

A super experiance glitch: when you are at the three beasts to beat the demon, battle the purple knight and once you defeat him, DONT TAKE THE GEM HE DROPS, instead kill yourself from the fire and then you will spawn in front of him so you can keep repeating it over and over until you are maxed out, WOOT great game btw 4.8/5

It would be better if the button for navigating upgrades was different than the attack button -- the upgrade window keeps popping up in the middle of battle so I never get to select an upload.

Best feature of the game. Instead of bouncing back when you get hit, you bounce onto the other side of the enemy. It prevents you from falling into pits. Great Game.

The final demon, destroy all the globes and just release all your magic on destroying the furry blob :D The eye does nothing, just jump down and stab it a bunch

BOSS TIPS (Part 3/3): DEMON BOSS: Kill the crystals in this order: LEFT, RIGHT, TOP. Whenever the fireballs are coming by go towards the fireballs in a way that you are running through the fireball that just hit. Then do the same when he goes back. Otherwise, whale on the crystal by constantly jumping. When both bottom crystals are down, go to the top one. Keep hitting it but be sure to jump around to avoid the fireballs. This is a difficult task, but if you avoid enough fireballs you should have at least 1/3 of your health. With a magic of at least 4, you should be able to heal twice to get your health back up. Then, in his roaming phase where he moves around, stay at the top where it is easy to avoid him and where you can hit him the most. Hit him but be sure to never go under him. This should be cakewalk. After that, he will drop an eye that will bounce around. The eye cannot attack, so just jump down and kill it quickly.
