Under rating threshold (show) Normally I love Bonte's games, but this one was hellish. Especially level 25. Level 25 took me longer to complete than the 24 levels before it. I have pretty good reflexes, but a lot of the bricks were quite close to the paddle, so when the ping pong ball hits it from below, you have split seconds to react.

Under rating threshold (show) This is not as good as others. Several parts rely less on IQ and more on thinking like dev. And when i played Lv 25 it was laggy as hell. I got through it all but didnt enjoy it as much as others. Personally i like the challenge of figuring stuff out, not having micro-second joystick skills on a tiny screen, so not the highest rated game from you. Others might like it more. Thx anyway Bonte!

Under rating threshold (show) 14/ Level 25: Egawalls, only poorly done, to get the key eventually. So many things wrong with this that it just leaves a poor taste in the mouth and ramps the game up from poor to shit in a heartbeat. the least of the problems is the colour order Orange>Blue>Green>Purple. As the colour sequence hasn't impacted the gameplay, but is just a minor gripe in lack of consistency and with that lack in logic.

Aug. 17, 2019

Under rating threshold (show) 12/ Also, Colourorder is all over the place. You got Blue>Yellow>Orange>Purple, Yellow>Purple>Green>Orange, Orange>Green>Yellow>Blue, Purple>Blue>Orange>Green, Green>Yellow>Purple>Orange, Blue>Orange>Purple>Yellow and finally Purple>Blue>Yellow>Orange. And yes, I get that you wanted Orange to be the only colour in all of them, but the sequence of colours should be maintained for logical gameplay throughout all the levels. So you can leave certain colours in the sequence, but not change the relative positions of each colour in the sequence.

Under rating threshold (show) 11/ Level 23: You have to make all the background orange and all the penguins down. The main background is orange which could be considered a hint. but there is no hint within the level for the penguin position. a low silhouette for the penguin watching the screens could've helped. This is also the first level of it's kind basically, and having us guess what to do. The initial thought would be moving the penguins in the same position, as interacting with the penguins is what we've been taught. We haven't been taught that the background can change colour by clicking on it yet, this might've needed a level to be introduced first. As a good level 2 for example where the penguin was already fully out, but you had to click the background to make it matching to the first level to teach this mechanic. As it is, teaching this two levels away from the end is just way too late.

Under rating threshold (show) 10/ Level 22: You have to drag a keyhole around, to find another keyhole, to find another keyhole, to find a key. Additionally, you have to drag around the layers of each keyhole separately, making it a very tedious task. This is also the first level of its kind and a build up from 1 to 2 to 3 layers would be a welcome addition. And having the layers lock so you can just drag around the keyhole, rather than having to inch through the entire level hoping the key isn't in the last place you'll look.

Under rating threshold (show) 9/ Level 20: Snake, but can still only go left, still isn't on a grid, and now you also have to click to make blocks disappear. The fact that it isn't on a grid and the snake can hit the blocks by a pixel for a failstate is annoying. And after clicking a block a new block appears elsewhere like level 3 and 18, but your snake might be there already and causing a failstate as well. Level 21: You have to click the penguins to spell out the level number. Previous levels of this sort required the game title and developername. Making the levelnumber less obvious, as it goes down in scale again. For the increasing scale which would be more logical it would've been Level>Game>Developer. Therefor this should've been the first level of this leveltype. Or the last if it was a declining scale (Developer>Game>Level).

Under rating threshold (show) 8/ Level 18: A follow up on level 3, White suddenly doesn't become purple, but green. And now the newly taught order is that Orange becomes Blue, Blue becomes White, White becomes Green, Green becomes Purple, And Purple becomes Orange to restart the order. Aside from it being out of order you have to form a key and hope you do it in the right colour. Based on where the squares jump you can quite easily deduce what colour you should do it in, and aside from the colour order this level doesn't have to many issues. Level 19: You have to spell out bartbonte and the context given "A __ Game" gives a hint. Players might have to go back to the titlescreen to see what they should type.

Under rating threshold (show) 7/ Level 15: 3 Penguins with Delete on their belly. Instead of interacting with the penguins with the mouse, we have to press the Del-key 3x. Again, going against what we've been taught of how we have to interact with the game. Level 16: Find the differences, and only the topscreen can be used as interface to point out the differences. Better would've been to have both "screens" able to point out the differences. From the two similar screens it's easy enough to pick up on what we have to do though. Level 17: A follow up on level 11, but now the vertical movement of the mouse turns the light/shadow area, and the ball is restricted to the horizontal movement. A good follow up and expansion on the mechanics for the type of level.

Under rating threshold (show) 6/ Level 12: A repeat of level 2, but now we can't type any of the key letters. the added gimmick with only cause initial confusion making the player think they made a type-o. A decent enough progression for the type of level overall and the last of its kind, so the potential for adding more forbidden letters cut short. and a shame as eventually the entire title could've been forbidden letters. Level 13: You have to spell out KEY by interacting with the penguins. Fine level with use of the mechanics that we were introduced to. Level 14: Snake is back, only now with an extended level. Still only able to turn left.

Under rating threshold (show) 5/ So, after the player learned they had to wait for the thought-bubble, they next have to hope they have the mouse in the right position. An easy fix for the last problem is to have the key stay as soon as it's appeared. Something other similar puzzlegames have done. Level 10: Click the orange ball and keep your mouse hovering over it as it goes up to the spikes. Ball is big enough for the speed it gains to make relatively easy. But again, the only time this gimmick is used. A shame because in later levels with a smaller ball would be a great follow up. Level 11: Guide the orange ball from penguin to penguin without touching the shadowed area. Fine level.

Aug. 17, 2019

Under rating threshold (show) 4/ Level 7: There's a penguin and as you taught in level 1 and 5 we have to interact with it. But no, now we suddenly have to move around the background. Again causing disconnect with what we have to do, and what you have taught we should do. Level 8: Back to intuitive gameplay by having to click the ball and having to click the newly appeared balls consecutively. Good level and a test of memory of sorts. Level 9: You have to wait for the penguins thought-bubble for the key to appear. This level has 2 problems. First one, waiting is a newly introduced mechanic, and only used here, causing the player to not hold still, but move around sporadically trying to find whatever gimmick this level would have. Second, the thought-bubble disappears with the slightest movement.

Under rating threshold (show) 3/ Level 5: We have to form a word from the letters on the screen. It's the title of the game. Fine, the 2 is a big enough hint that it would be this. But instead of typing, as we learned in level 2 which we would have to do, it is dragging penguins as we learned in level 1. Rather than forcing one over the other, this easily could've been both and again, taking away from what you've tried to teach in level 2. Level 6: You have to drop the ball through a hole you have to create by moving your mouse from left to right to align the holes. The ball easily gets stuck because the hole is a pixel off and is to precise for the demanded timepressure. the movement from the mouse is also slightly greater than the movement generated in the discs making it feel less intuitive to move.

Aug. 17, 2019

Under rating threshold (show) 2/ Level 3: You have to click the white blocks to turn them purple and shift position so they form a key. You teach that White comes before purple, and we're back at mouse controls. nothing quite wrong yet, this would've been a good follow up for level 1 instead of they keyboard level so the games controls would've been consistent. Level 4: You have to play snake, but instead of using the arrow keys, like people traditionally associate with snake, we're forced to only make left turns on the click of the mouse. Also there isn't a grid for the balls you have to collect nor the snake, making it look more wonky than the traditional snake.

Under rating threshold (show) 1/ My comment of me saying the game is shit wasn't too well received, and quite possibly because I didn't quantify it. So, allow me to elaborate why this game is shit. Level 1: You use your mouse to drag up the penguin and find the key. Nice simple first level that teaches you the mechanics of your game. Level 2: You type all the letters on the screen with your keyboard. Already throwing away the mechanics you taught in the first level and causing for inconsistency. Alright, you want to introduce different mechanics, doesn't have to make the game shit, but it's already causing for disconnect.

Under rating threshold (show) RE:25 .. The ball is too fast for that ball speed and the paddle is too thin. The paddle also doesn't contrast with the back ground very well so you have to strain your eyes a bit. Very bad ending level, and the end is what people will remember the most.

Under rating threshold (show) I was going to give this game a 2/5. Then I reached level 25. Now it gets a 1/5. The entire game is annoying and frustrating and often tedious. Not fun to play, puzzles are not interesting, and several repeat just with harder modes.
