Some areas a good strategy is to put two eye towers in close range and a fire tower nearby. Watch the monsters health drain away. Doesn't work on imps so well...

The skill point requirements seem a bit steep to me. I had 22 lives, only 6 monsters got by me, and I got 0 skill points. Also, it would be great to be able to respec our skill points. I'm sure at this point the game is what it is, but those are my personal constructive criticisms.

XDust said it already "I hate it when this happens, it's like you play like the developer imagined or you lose, limited or no choice." The most later levels have a very low numbers of possibilities. One has to spend the skill points very exactly and the towers of a exact type must be placed at the exact time at the exact place. If 2 till 4 deviations from the "great plan" exists, has the player no chance to win the level with a perfect score.

The only critique I can add is that it seems some upgrades are not worth it. For example, the eye tower gets a FAR bigger boost for the first upgrade (for $45) than from the second upgrade ($90). You're much better off with three level 2 eye towers for $450 than 2 level 3 eye towers for $500. The critical tower seems overpowered when fully upgraded...quick enough fire rate, huge range, and powerful enough to even kill the "brown" resistant monsters (unlike the other two types). For fire towers, the power jump from a level 3 basic fire tower to level 1 inferno tower is incredible - damage is increased 2.5x and the fire rate barely drops at all, plus the fire damage over time bonus. Sure you could upgrade it after that...but I'm not convinced the upgrades are better, much less a good use of your money. So some tweaking with the power levels of certain towers at certain upgrade levels is probably a good idea, but for a new game that's to be expected. 5/5 for potential.

all you need is critical hit tower + lv1 eye tower and you can finish all levels without losing 1 life!. + this comment to let more people see

ok game. graphics are nice but the gameplay bores me somehow. i dont like the different skills + there are no tooltips for towers etc.

Great.... So my previous comment gets rated down because I pointed out a bug I'm suffering with this game? The camera still jumps when new waves begin or when selecting upgrades (seemingly)... I have no idea why your camera would shift on its own, but it makes the game almost impossible to play when you can't get to towers long enough to upgrade them.

So I just beat a level with 7/15 lives remaining and didn't get a single skill point for it. How am I supposed to improve in order to advance or go back to get the remaining skill points without that nice boost?

Minor bug: You can get the Great Defender Award by ANY 10 maps instead of ALL 10 maps. For example: start a new game and just play the first level 10 times....viola, Great Defender Award!
Love the game even though it made me dishoner my family name by accepting an award I didn't earn...the shame!

First time I've seen a game creator actually listen to the feed back and make changes. You earned yourself a fan without even playing the game yet!

I finaly beat it. you have to save up 350$ for the last boss's and then use freeze and tower boosting ones at same time while they are in the middle

i know i said this yesterday also but and this is a big BUT. How can the last level be so much more difficult than the rest. Ok i get it, you want to develop a challenging game, make all levels hard and you have to learn. Here all the levels were ok until the last where i tried a lot of tower combinations and still can't pass. I hate it when this happens, it's like you play like the developer imagined or you lose, limited or no choice. Beginning to feel sorry for the 4 stars i gave to the game.

Could use a bit more balance. A few smaller things: I'd love a reset skill button, to try different tactics. Secondly, awards should have an effect. People keep suggesting this on games, but devs keep forgetting!

There is a bug or feature or what ever you want to call it in the game:
press backspace once => u get the developer console
press backspace multiple times => win the lvl on gold
pls fix that one ;)

nice game,i like it,the music is a bit tedious. the description of the eye tower and the fire tower are equal, both says "can be upgraded to: inferno, greed and volcanic tower".it would be nice gold bonus for calling waves early and W,S,A,D to move the screen =-)

This is a fun, 4 star game. I don't like the way abilities cost gold, however. A separate resource system for spells/abilities (or just CD) would make it 5 stars.

And why does upgrading basic eye towers provide just a pitiful +2 to damage? Perhaps it increases stun time, but in this case you should mention it...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Could be fun, but highly imbalanced. Also, the controls tend to stick a lot, making it impossible to use the spells quickly or scroll with the mouse efficiently. The placement of the special towers makes them pretty much useless, as the range for them makes them strategic deadweight. Tried to play it through, but entirely too frustrated.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I think you have some of the specials mixed up in the skills menu. The blue special stuns and the red special gives magic. You might want to fix this.

I'll be back to play this game again when the towers get notes on them when you click on them to buy/upgrade. On level 1, I'm already tired of pausing the game a dozen times to check what each tower is.

If you press the red ! to see some new information on things, but the "last wave" message is up, the last wave message is on top of the information and you can't read it and it doesn't go away. Then the red ! goes away because you 'read' it.

This might sound a bit weird, but it's like Cursed Treasure: Don't Touch My Gems... but without the gems! And with really cute graphics and music. So it gets 4/5 :D
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
We shouldnt have to go into the pause menu to see what upgrades do. That really lessens the fun factor for me. All that going back and forth takes me out of the game.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I might be banned from the internet for awhile. I beat the shit out of this game, and now I'm under investigation by the internet police for assault.

I too think an Air Tower would be interesting addition. (maybe for the next game?) ~~ And the description without cash. (tho you could always just go Menu, Guide to see everything that's in game, but to some ppls, it might be an inconvenience, since you would have to do it while playing the game... pausing it every time would be a hassle)
