limited gold level is easy if you develop just to gunmen + monk combo (with a step to keep so you have a population cap of 8) - after that just purchase 3 monls + 5 gunmens and upgrade them.

BEAT MONEY LEVEL: three priests rest captains fully upgraded, the trick is to build and send the them right as the first captain is ready

LIMITED MONEY LEVEL CAN BE BEATEN YOU NEED TO GO STRAIGHT FOR CAPTAINS + PRIESTS TO HEAL...OOPS CAPS.....don't wate money on anything else, upgrade prist and captain and you'll finish withy 300+gold

@crossillian lolol your hotkey only closes one tab, you can easily reopen. what a noob =P theres other that will shut your whole comp down and you pick a dumb hotkey. but back to the real stuff, quite a nice game :) 4/5

Nice, but I have to fail it because of the limited gold level. It's a shame to have that turd right in the middle of it; the limited gold level might make a good bonus level if it's actually possible to beat.

Also, are the monk and high priest really the same? In the unit hiring stats (on mouseover) it says they have the same stats, the only difference is the high priest says "advanced healing unit"

in regard to everyone complaining about the limited gold level - it's not so bad. I beat it on my first try with 680 gold left. Use high priests and mace men.

1) Fix the limited gold level.
2) Have the ability to reset skill points (ie. take all your skill points back and set them again)
3) RELEASE THE FULL VERSION (after all the updates, of course.)

i hate the limeted gold lv i built my city defenses and horsemen and riflemen and attacked and get this all of a sudden they start spawning like crazy when i get close and i mean captains a guard and rifle men just came out of nowhere and killed me its a cheating level + if you think they should take out the gold cap level!

the limited gold level wasnt that hard to u just need the second priest unlocked before u get the great game 5/5 all day nice challange the last level is harder then the limited gold level.u have to let em hit and build up first no troops just let ur tower and cannons take me out gl all .

that limited money level is freaking stupid! i built up an army of swordman and archers in the first minute and they hit me with CAPTAINS... in the first minute like this if you think they should change the limited money level

Hope u like it, now I suggest for mission 6 (limited gold) that you save all up all your research points for this mission, coz without an option to reset skills you should have all possibilities open. Everytime you start, you can spend all pts so far on different skills until u beat it.

odd... it seems that level six is significantly harder on speed x3 than normal speed, because I've been trying the last ten minutes to beat it, then i unsped and on first try with 4 monks, 5 captains won, losing only a single unit. Thanks StoneysLounge for your earlier comment and link to video guide that got me through the level!

I would have loved to play this game, but chalk me up as another one who thinks the limited money level is insanely stupid. If this is some sort of ploy to make me go play the "full game", forget it.

limited money level was kinda easy... i just rush teched for gun man, upgraded their fire rate and build with the remaining money those gun man. add in 2 upgraded priests and go. attacked, won.

(cont)... best combination i can find is 4-5 knights and rest healers and the moment you have 1 knight and healer attack and keep attacking spawning your units behind them, upgrade knight armor and healer heal, and after that its just luck it is probably possible i don't doubt it, but after that its not skill its simply luck as to what the ai decides to rez, and so far as i can tell the computer has infinite resources to fight with not just some resources but infinite... anyway there is my rant XP. Other then that it could have been a fun game, i wont rate down because its simply a beta but, please fix as it could be a good game otherwise. Perhaps a enemy economy, or at least a realistic spawn rate something akin to yours multiple at once perhaps of different units but then wait , not 10 at a time multiple of the same unit etc ... =/ and please fix the healers able to heal units not showing... thanks and sorry for the massive text

Several major issues, 1 it appears healers cant heal units that aren't showing their damage, thus a wounded unit can be walking amongst several healthy units and the healers wont heal until the damaged one's life pops up, 2 yes the limited money level is very unbalanced, the instant spawn of the enemy units is insane, i spent several hours and every combination of mace/knight/healer/etc and just got it down to 266 and would have beat them except what appears to have been like 15 units spawned all at once thus fell my first unit and then the domino effect of course, ....(cont)
