whomever gets a squad of riflemen up first wins, no real way to counter that, the melee takes a beating and usually dies before getting in range.

its fun, but its shorrt. i think a campaign mode would be nice, and a survival mode, but make the enemy harder to beat. also, maybe more than one enemy?

Strategy to beat easy, normal, or hard difficulties:
1. Build a windmill
2. Build a barracks and a blacksmith
3. Train 4 riflemen
4. When all 4 riflemen are trained, send them to attack the enemy city
5. Upgrade riflemen attack
6. Whenever a rifleman dies (not very often) train another and send him to attack the enemy city
7. Now you have a very tough decision, do nothing and just watch the riflemen destroy the enemy city, or try to race to cannons and see if you can get one out before the riflemen destroy the enemy city, the choice is yours but the end is always you winning.

Wait Till you got the money to upgrade "Cannon" And Just Spam'em With Cannons " And You'll win For sure ! No Swords-men will get close enaugh to dammage you ! + So Everyone can see !

fun game but way too short/easy as u can just get 3-4 riflemen and instagib enemy spawns and still be out of range of a watchtower

Pretty fun Game. I was gettin attacked bad till I upgraded my rifles then I kept making riflemen till I got em off me. Then I was able to build up and attack back.

Very promising start, however a couple of things (mostly already been mentioned by others in these comments). It should have different difficulty settings, more complex upgrades, options to play games with more than one opponent, more room to roam (and faster troops speeds) more control over which troops are doing what (Like a drag-select for units in a certain area and a double click for units of a certain type), and a campaign. VERY good looking game so far, keep up the good work! Can't wait to see the improvements you make for the next version :)

This is one of my favorite games! And let me give you a tip,get the fighting barrack thing first then get the windmill to get fast money then you should get the rifleman thing and then you will win by just doing those steps oh and make sure you always have an army at the gates so they cant attack the village!

A little too easy, juz spam rifleman and lay siege on him. The watchtower's range is too short to reach the rifleman...

great game but way too short. But its funny i think it was this game and when ever i tried to play it on another sight it'd always be in Japanese so i didnt know what to do but in English it was way simple and a quick game. Looking forward for a sequel.

It would be a good game with some design tweaks. Some basic elements fail the "wtf" test. Like the watchtower only works on melee units, all you need are upgraded riflemen to win, etc. The people who find this game hard are the people used to more complex strategy games where a distribution of unit types are required here. Here, just buy a windmill, and the parts to buy upgraded riflemen, and eventually the cannon if you feel like making it end faster and you are done.
