It's a great game, but needs some minor corrections. like a bestiary, to see what the bugs do, and a better description of guns, because i don't know the rang, damege, or anything but its name :( Also i think the laser cannon should be called somthing eles, it's not very lasery. Mabey bug zapper or somthing (+) if you agree. :)

Just fully upgrade the main gun and use heavy cannons, not lasers. heavy cannonscan help you when you use distress call.

Good concept for a game and I did enjoy it. 4/5 from me - but needs some polishing. Lag is a bit of an issue, but then again I'm playing on my work computer which isn't so hot. A crosshair would be nice. It's too easy to get good weapons which makes the rest obsolete from the start. I start with 2 normal cannons, upgrade my base cannon then save for the Double Slasher by level 3 / 4 I have it after not losing 1 hp and faceroll my way to victory. Just add a few more Double Slashers, a few Strong Seekers and it's GG. I do agree with the above that the levels start getting a bit tedious aswell due to their duration later on. Especially if you're going for gold and one retarded bug manages to get through out of luck. Also, a button to send the next wave sooner would be nice too. I'd been keen to play a second one, or an updated version but I'd expect to see alot of minor improvements to make it worthy of a higher rating.

solid 4*. Nothing particularly original, it's annoying that I have to buy and try guns before I learn their range/area affected. I can't ever tell what guns are effective where.. for example, with the scythe.. does it ever hit anything or are my "lasers" (wtf, i was expecting a straight beam) killing everything? Homing missiles are distracting, slow and next to useless. Overall decent, needs some spell checking and the finishing text needs a rewrite.

I'm pretty sure that your comp is lagging as the game does not pause during turning when I play, EaqueMinos. Try turning the quality down to low and see if it goes away.

I'm liking this game, other than one thing i've noticed since i started playing, you have these weapons that say (other than anti "whatever" bug)...how do we know which bugs those are? why not adding a bestiary somewhere as we kill the bugs letting us have some description about which bugs are what. + if you agree

This game could be very funny and addictive if it wasn't for a VERY bad idea : every time you turn your turret to aim at incoming bugs, the game pauses (the enemy stop moving and you stop shooting) ! It's very annoying, as if the game is lagging, except it isn't. Should a bug come at you strafing, and it becomes ULTRA annoying trying to shoot at him while moving...
Really fix that or put an option to deactivate it. Besides, it ruins the fun : you just have to keep moving your mouse to keep the game paused, thus letting you aim with ease. No reflex needed.

To make the game auto-fire, hold down left mouse button and move the cursor outside the game screen. Right clicking to bring up a menu while shooting also work.
This allows you to do something else while the game plays itself. Combine this with automatic targeting weapons; one laser on each side of the main cannon and dual seekers on the rest of the weapon slots, and you will be able to play through most of the game without having to pay attention.

Wow, this game is pretty respectable.
Just.. the waves seemed to get tiring after awhile, not sure what it was.
Very polished look and feel overall. Very cool 3D effect in gameplay, I've never seen something like that before.

just now am I noticing that the world is in fact 3 dimensional, or at least has the appearance of it... as in the mountains and islands move differently, although I like this feature, it would be nice if the bullets and bugs also followed this graphic effect and left/came from the horizon and dissapeared/appeared at the edges as opposed to just coming from the edges of the screen.

It had some nice silly dialogues, great concept, but (as mentioned before) wave length adjustments would be nice. The challenge doesn't come with more and longer phases of similar enemies.

making enemies just "more" instead of "stronger", make the game easy even at long waves. just cover the screen with gunfire. enemies need to be improved, holy fruit customization should be slightly developed. I think the game was a very good ides 5/5

Missiles' tracking is near worthless. If the missiles manage to find a target, they can't turn fast enough to hit it and end up just flying offscreen. Make them find a target when fired, not when they're a fraction of an inch away from a target.

The damage upgrades to the gun don't upgrade its damage - you can test this on those little purple bugs from level 1 on, which always take two shots to kill, no matter how upgraded you are.
