This game would be infinitely better if we had more control over our troops, or at least the ability to set more of a strategy. If full control isn't possible with current coding why not give us some strategy options? Like kill the weakest enemy rather than the one that's in line of sight, or kill the enemy that our troops have a bonus damage buff on?

Unit Commander "Sir, we have 200 archers in the back field, permission to fire."
General "Are you insane, can't you see the one archer standing in front of them. Kill him first and give the others a chance to shoot us at full strength."
Unit Commander "... are you f***ing kidding me?"

Definition of Fog: is a type of a cloud, the term "fog" is typically distinguished from the more generic term "cloud" in that fog is low-lying, and the moisture in the fog is often generated locally (such as from a nearby body of water, like a lake or the ocean, or from nearby moist ground or marshes).Which means NOT IN DUNGEONS!

So far, the Engrish and lag time are getting on my nerves. Not to mention the money-hungry-ness of these MMOs. I understand that they cost money to great and run, but still. Other ways or formats. There are some things gamers will pay for and other things they will loathe being asked to pay for. At the moment, I'm a little impressed by the complexity of the game, but only time will tell if it's worth playing (for free only).

"Jimgreer:We put badges on 5-10 times as many singleplayer games as MMOs. If you don't like the MMOs, don't play them! Many people do like them."
It's not about not liking MMO's, it's about badges on non-working, 13-in-a-dozen MMO's.

This game would be more entertaining if every function didnt cost gold... I am not going to waste kreds just to perform a simple function like removing a skill or trading in this game...

With reguards to my previous comment about the transmute not working...
Also didn't work with some boots i tried.
I thought maybe poor programming meant i HAD to only have 1 of each required item to make the recipe work so i actually SOLD items i could have saved to test, and it STILL claims i dont have the required items (even though they all say 1/1 or 3/1 or 6/1)... GRR

When a game starts asking you to pay for not playing it(skipping battles and animations) you can tell how bad it really is. The game should be paying its players to watch its boring Battles and not the players paying to not have to watch them.

@ JIMGREER: my personal problem isn't that of MMOs getting badged. There's a brickload of good MMOs that totally deserve their badges. My problem is that even if they're crappy (such as Call of Gods here is, imho) they still get badged, even when their quality is low. Furthermore, they get to be recommended. I always see at least 5 spaces reserved for MMOs on the front page, even when these MMOs are virtually indistinguishable one from the other.
One example: Buggle Connect is fun, elegantly designed, has a good replay value and more than a bit of strategy is needed to play. It's a fun, simple and fresh game even now, without being moronically simple. Its score is 4.08, a full half point more than Call of Gods, but it's got NO BADGES. I'm not here to accuse anyone, but it seems to me kongregate has a particularly good (and sometimes unjustified) opinion of fantasy MMOs.

If you can't pay for gold there is 2 options: 1) sell tops on auction and 2) claim free kreds (check "get kreds" button).

also, while I'm at it, the items sold but still in the inventory are annoying.
not being able to direct your troops and not being able to know which formation your gonna face removes any strategic aspect this game may have.
and finally it would be nice to have a chatroom to talk with your teammates when you're doing a team battle.
still a fun game but it could be much better with some improvements :)

Hi there, I'd like to point a problems with the defence system.
I find it totally useless to put your units in defence mode in case you'll get attacked.
when you're under assault, it's usually by someone with a better level than you so if you defend you lose ressources AND all your units but if you win, you'll only gain some honor but still lose a lot of units thus losing ressources to replace them and if someone esle attacks you before you can replenish your troops, you're done.
If you don't put your troops in defence mode and you have a lot of ressources stacked up for the latter upgrades, if someone finds out, he'll just farm you for hours and you'll lose a lot.
so, in my opinion, there's absolutely nothing to gain by being defensive (and a lot to loose) but there's even more to loose if you're not.
I'd suggest that if you successfully defend an assault, all your troops should be revived or at least something like 75% of them so that even if you win you don't lose a lot.

Could use improvements before trying to take so much money from us, if i want to pay for a game it mine as well be a good one; not some money grubbing poorly made one. First off skipping battles costing money was a terrible idea; its like you guys basically asking us to skip the part of the game that's for most people the most fun and you want us to pay to skip it? This feature should be free or cost ingame gold at least. Secondly in combat you should have the ability to control your own troops instead of having them rush up and be slaughtered because you cant tell them to wait for the enemy to approach you. Lastly it would be cool if there was a way to earn gold instead of paying for it in game. For example if you beat the first dungeon u get 3 gold 2nd dungeon is 5 gold ect....

"504 Gateway Time-Out", "Server connection lost", "Connection error" etc... :] Is it only me, or does this look strange? :/ And small suggestion ---> make less demands for gold coins? Skipping fight, really? :|

Honestly, I don't know why everyone's bitching about this game. I haven't had to pay a single cent and I've almost maxed all my buildings and done every quest and dungeon in the game. Sooooo many people were happy to line up to play Caesery, and look where that trash went. They took your money and shut the game down because even THEY knew it was terrible. At least this is moderately entertaining for a browser MMO.

Does anyone else get the feeling in these types of MMO's they are just playing the role of an exaggerated courier and mercenary? Speak to people. Deliver items. Kill. Same. Repetitive. Crap.

The inability to make tactical decisions in a battle is annoying. The language is horrendous. Some names are obvious rip-offs (Coruscant, anyone?). Other than that, no so bad. I'll play for a while longer and see if I can get to like it (more).
