Since most of you players don't see the reason behind cut-scenes let me explain.
Power-Level, yes simple as that. Without those cut scenes players could get to high levels very fast. In addition to that you wouldn't be able to have enough troops because they take time to restore ( buyable ones ), even more to that, if you don't want to spend gold on other stuff, get high level and earn it through the game. Simple as that
And without lowering prices there are ENOUGH buyers, believe me.
Also Kongregate is just a family web-site. The servers are not located on kongregate, this game itself has nothing to do with kongregate besides partner-ship relating to Kredz/Gold and game being available on this site as well.

FOR PEOPLE WHO SUDDENLY FOUND THEIR HERO HAS VERY LITTLE LIFE IN BATTLES, YOU NEED TO GO TO ASSIGN AND CLICK ON THE AFFECTED HERO/S(MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SOME IDLE ,AND IF NOT BUY SOME AT YOUR BARRACKS ) AND AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SCREEN CLICK ASSIGN AND YOUR HERO WILL HAVE FULL HEALTH(DO TO ALL HERO/S WHO GET INJURGED AFTER FIGHTS,EVEN IF YOU DONT LOSE HEALTH)

another pay to win game with a expensive shop, almost everything in the screen have a shortcut to spend gold, the action house need real money to buy items, the vip is expensive for a flash game (really 10$? I'm paying it in WoW), you need gold to remove and add skill slots, gold to buy orange heroes (5$ each book to have a chance to get one) and even to skip a fight... rly? no tks 1/5

i dont get it, we dont choose or have passwords, so we cant get onto COG on other websites... like callofgods.com ... which is dumb... please fix somehow! otherwise, good game!

I thing every race should have a dragon, and its only 1 but really powerful, but everyone gets one so its fair, but you do a quest something like " quest for the dragon egg" and you find hatch it over time and feed it, soldiers, and it grows and then its a unit ready for a epic battle

I'm sorry but the tutorials in this game are kinda really bad. You start the first one and a random skeleton is shooting another one. They both do their thing without me pressing buttons and I can't do anything to change what happens. After I win it says, now you should understand combat? Next combat I lose cause I have no idea whats going on, and thats the tutorial! lol.

as a compromise on the "skip battle for silver" have a "double speed for free"
battles will still be boring (to me at least) it won't be as far as free skip but better than it is now

I actually kinda like this, unlike a lot of these games the "buy gold now!" angle isn't really thrust in your face (though the boobs still are) in fact, I feel as if the waiting times are truly part of the gameplay and I'd feel almost like I was cheating if I could use it. Maybe when I get to higher levels I'll feel different, but...
