It would cost me 98£ to afford enough books of astrology to get a single RANDOM orange hero card. wtf developers! seriously overpriced to the point that this game is not even worth a single penny.

On the new server (11), still won't load the first time (stuck at 98% "Slow loading, please refresh the webpage") and thus obviously unplayable. And that's probably for the better, considering the only "tip" the loading screen shows is "Vip can give you many privileges in COG."

1/ This game seems to be built to reward mostly the high ranking players.
2/ There is virtually no documentation i.e. What is a Spirit for?
3/ No one will help you if you ask a question. I don't mean that they say "I do not know", I mean that NO ONE answers at all.
4/ Do Forum Posts ever get answered? I have not seen one.
5/ You should be at least able to earn gold somehow. Not easily maybe, but somehow.
6/ New icons come up all the time, but no instruction on how to use them i.e. Plant Tree, Rush
So, am I right in thinking that I will receive no response to my comments?

I've played games that I didn't like because they were not really my cup of tea - too hard, a genre I don't like, too flawed, etc. There have been games I flat-out disliked because of these things. However, they still elicited some emotion as a result of the developers' efforts. This game is different: I just don't feel involved at all. It looks polished and the music sounds pretty good at first. Ready to be impressed, you get led by the hand very strictly ("And here you have...NO, don't touch THAT! Click HERE!"), find out the music lasts about 30 seconds and is more annoying than anything and find the flaws hidden by the polished visuals. Completed the easy badge, made a screenshot to report the missing achievement, and I'm out of here forever. I don't even bother to hate this game - which is really worse than hating it.

This game has tons of lag. Also, you need to put a "ready to craft" button on the transmutation menu, i don't want to click through a millionty seven pages to see if i have enough items for anything yet. I'd rather just sell every transmutation item i get.

For the hard badge it took me a little more then one week of playing. 10 - 20 hours, character lv 52 and heroes lv 48

first sorry for bad english school is long ago...
so i started playing and it reminded me on another game i played in my past and was stupid enough to spend much money...
be careful here...
i watched the "impressum"? imprints? flags? from the game... the game is from chinese, where much games like this flood the world, less support, less updates, just new servers over and over again, just to grab your coins...
it´s nothing against china in general, but this games just flood the game-world and they don´t care much... trust me i trapped in this pit once and spent about 1000 dollar once... also stupid inventory is always full... i think it´s a shame for kongregate to let this game run on their site...

call of gods is more and less dead now (still playable but even more empty). what's left are memories of fun peoples i played with in a game who wasn't too time consuming (when i played it, so 7 years ago ^^;)

@seetami321 there is no indication it was actually an end of contract, and if so no indication they informed Kong they weren't renewing. Other games that have left Kong with their knowledge had Kong announcements stating such was going to be happening.

Thanks for telling us about the account transfer only on the last minute. I never knew I should have set some password for my inventory – and now the account can't be transferred because of that (without going through some major hassle and divulging private information for the management of that other unknown bullshit website, that is). I was only going for the badges, and this is a bit much. Kongregate should have kept us informed about the ending of the contract.

Game went apesh*t during tutorial, preventing me from doing anything. So basically I can't play it even if I still wanted to. Btw. When you make a tutorial mandatory, you're just mindnumbing the player, went for 5min in the tutorial and I have no idea what does what, just followed the arrows for the whole time, since I has no choice, cause NOTHING else was clickable.
TL;DR: Game's buggy as all hell.

Combat is a mere cutscene. But it's worse than that. You must endure seeing the stupidest tactical decisions ever. I know they would make the cutscenes more difficult if the AI was behaving with more tactical acumen than an inbred lemming, but at least it would be less painful. 1/5 because one can't rate it lower.

All for avoiding bots, but could you not implement something that checks whether the user is actually active before checking if he's at the computer? I just have the tab open to do small tasks, such as build a building, or restart training etc, and I get logged out because I do not see the prompt. This is quite annoying, and hardly the effect you aimed for, so I hope you guys can do something about it. :)

This game is the reason why all of us here study marketing in business school. That skip button is a really bad PR guy - all he communicates is the greed of the developers. Those horrifyingly sloppy typos? He's a worse QC guy. He told us how unfinished, buggy, and incomplete this game is. That server lag and downtime? Told us how crappy the services you provide. You know there's a lot of things to discuss here but as i've seen it this game actually has no real future. Next time when you actually developed something real consider the value it gives to customers.
