Under rating threshold (show) Maybe a way to see stats after you die? How many ships you sank that round, how many people eaten, etc.

Under rating threshold (show) You realize Captian Ahab had no one to blame but himself for getting eaten. This game proves that Moby Dick had no choice but to take out human ships. If earth's entire naval population would have just stop shooting endless arrows, cannonballs, and nets at him, he could have had a peaceful life annilating the entire fish population. But out of self defence, he had to fight back. He even defended the earth from an alien invasion (a little known fact). He really was a nice whale.

Under rating threshold (show) It just isn't fun once you're big anymore. I want to feel invincible when I'm weighing 120 tons, diving deep and crushing everything in my way. Instead I feel like a huge unmanoeuvrable thing in a goldfish tank. I still have to hit a simple fishing boat as many times as I had to when I was the size of a seal, only that now I have to depend mostly on luck to actually hit it. Sorry, badge of the day, but we live in different worlds.

Under rating threshold (show) The screen really moves around too much when you move the mouse, I think. It's very difficult to focus on any point of the map when it moves like that.

Under rating threshold (show) Some tips: 1) Eating recharges health. Use healing things only as a last resort. 2) Fish don't recharge much health, you're better served eating sailors and aliens. 3) "Begging" at the water doesn't do anything, use you're tail to destroy ships. (begging is hovering up at the top of the water with your head up) 4) You cannot get aliens at small sizes. Wait until you're a decent size (1500 hp to 2000), go to the bottom of the water, face up and use a boost. 5) Try to avoid using hp powerups if you can. Eat instead. 6) Going in tight circles right next to a boat can quickly destroy fleets. 7) Nets aren't too bad unless you're trying to run away. 8) If you're about to die, eat a few fish at the bottom and maybe a couple of hp powerups. 9) You can destroy more then one ship at once. 10) If you're having trouble moving, practice. Its easy enough once you're used to it. Hope this helped! This is coming fom someone who's 26th in the all time records.

Under rating threshold (show) This game is going to be absolutely fantastic, I'm really hoping that this game will get upgrades, maybe even upgrade trees so you don't just buy the same ones till you're basically invincible, but is balanced out instead using different strategies. that would include "scarred hide", "improved boost", "larger lungs" or "muscular fins" even. it's horribly hard to steer when you get larger, I think the sea should be made deeper, and have the area grow as you grow. I find myself to swim in up to 3 full circles before I get a health boost I want, and that actually caused me to die once or twice, but that could be fixed with an upgrade as well :)

Under rating threshold (show) This game is pretty easy to get over 1M points if you remember a few things . 1 - Do backflips . If someone asked me about the most efficient way of sinking ships , this is what I would tell him . Just jump slightly over the surface of water and try to circle whale with your cursor . 2 - powerups don't disappear, so if you have health you don't need, live it for the hard times . And if you have invulnerability, take it only when there is no healtpack around or when you are terribly close to becoming a skeleton . 3. Combine charge with backflips and everything must go ^ ^ Hope this help even a bit : D

Under rating threshold (show) @Jappert - You also need to plan strategic retreats, attack then wait at the bottom for the men to sink to you. Once you get to the large fleets it's best to Boost from the bottom and try to knock an Alien out of the sky. As you pass through the ships on the way up and down do as many tail swipes as possible. Then wait at the bottom for the men and the Alien(s). Use the Hearts sparingly to keep your health full, and wait for the occasional Invincibility so you can wipe out entire fleets.

Under rating threshold (show) Once you get the 100 tons achievement, it's pretty easy until around 475,000 points, where it gets pretty hard again. ALWAYS FOCUS ON THE SAILORS UNTIL 475,000! After that, if your health drops below 600, go back into the ocean and avoid fire until a health powerup appears. Get as many as you need until you're at 1300+ health, then go up and eat some more sailors. You should get to 500,000 fairly easily with a little practice. I got 512,000 and could have gone longer, but decided not to.

Under rating threshold (show) I agree with so many of these comments. The game is addicting but the control is terrible and it's quite annoying to boost into a large galleon only to have MAYBE one guy fall out of it... the same with a little canoe! Seriously, it's a bit frustrating to have to hit the larger ships so many more times even when you're 100 tons. Why don't I do more damage when I'm larger?

Under rating threshold (show) Tail slap - at 2000 health you break ships by circling your mouse around the yourself! Also, after you've passed through a ship, don't mouse over the ship - instead wobble the mouse back and forth in front of your head opposite to the ship. Your tail will sweep back and forth across the ship and destroy it.
