also as you add gunboids and new drillboids i suggest you ditch the "lives" and go with a drillboid/gunboid count and as you collect parts if you have enough parts you can construct whole new boids for your count

I like the graphics. But I do not get the point of the game. Does not see to be too much explanation and I really dont like the controls. Too spread out over the keyboard. Why not implement a mouse aim? If you are just doing up and down, should not be that difficult.

After playing for 5 minutes I can see that this game still has much work that needs to be done. Why are there secluded rooms full of gems in the middle of nowhere that have nothing to do with the game? Why can I dig forever? I should not be able to dig up. Just because I'm digging doesn't mean gravity doesn't apply anymore. I have found the easiest way to finish a level. Get the gem you need and die. It transports you to the ship because of death but you keep the gem and end the level. WooHoo! Quick escape. Fix these things and the game will be on its way to being a great game.

This games pretty cool! I think his drill should also function as a melee weapon, and the ball shouldn't make you completely invulnerable. I think you should make the enemy's hound you more. Cuz they stand there and just ignore you most of the time. But its a great alpha thou! Graphics very impressive.

to be fair I should say there's some activity on the development log (last in may) which looks promising. still, i'm hoping things will get moving soon

the lack of updates is sad, really. when this first made its way to kong I was expecting great things based on the descriptions of planned updates and user requests, but except for a patch or two there seems to be nothing new happening and game looks exactly as it did a couple weeks ago

Extremely buggy, 2 different monsters I've encountered after about 10 mins of playing (I'm counting the ones that have the same shape but different textures as 1 seeing as they are extremely unimaginative) having lives on an exploring game? dude cmon...

Doesn't really seem like there's a goal here. Get in, get the orb, get out. Add an objective pretty please. Otherwise, amazing game! It could use more work, but I get that it isn't finished just yet. Keep up the good work!

Yikes.... Great game, but... I can't find where I accidentally threw the orb.... It'd be REALLY appreciated, if the orb (once it's been grabbed the first time) showed up on the mini map. I seem to have lost it... in the tutorial level! I can't find where the orb went, so I can't finish the tutorial.

in the tutorial i went above the cave and got to the end..I dug straight down and got right to the orb...no easter egg but I was able to leave right away

lol first time i tried this game. Chose a huge cave, started digging straight down and found that thing you're supposed to collect almost emidiatley xD

awesome game. it's like Metroid and MR. Driller had a robotic baby. my only real complaints are that you have no way to detect the gas pockets and the game feels like it has no real goal. add awesome upgrades (like Metroid) some sort of story/goal and make going into a ball actually useful and you have a great game.
