This is one of the games that are worth the effort.

Without a progress bar to inform me whether I'm anywhere near the end, this becomes far too tedious and boring to warrant finishing it

Hiting a checkpoint on a rotating block makes me fly towards the end of the game. I may double-comment when i reach it.

this game has a bug. I hit a spike when I was in one of those reversed gravity zones. something went wrong when it respawned me. I hovered over the spawn point, but it never released me. I was able to go to the right, straight though all the remaining obstacles. made to the end and kept going for infinity. nothing but white space. http://imgur.com/a/jNATq

Rhythm based obstacles that don't reset when you respawn is a recipe for disaster. And the shapes become disorienting during some parts because there are no graphics. And the color cubes are SO small and hard to hit! And you repeat obstacles SO MUCH. And your character goes off screen to jack up difficulty for no reason. And being upside down doesn't magically make the game better! And you spend most of the game WAITING, and never make any decisions. This game is not fun, only annoying and boring! Doesn't deserve its badge.

Who was reminded of Mario when the squares with the spikes all around came in? Black spikes on the left, bottom, and right of them, it reminded me of those solid bricks from Super Mario World.

At first I thought "well this is fun and relaxing", but then a piano fell on my head bringing frustration, anger and hatred with it. I didn't expect this game to be so good. Claps for the great and very, very annoying soundtrack - goes just in the line of the game (pun totally intended). 5/5 good work

the games ending kinda sucks, its just it auto jumping with you (the line) falling into spikes and going all the way back to the start, similar to a kiazo mario trick

One way you can do what Inferno28 is saying is make the spiky part a different color, then make it so you die when you touch it.

I hate developers who make magic triangles of death, so let me try to explain this so that you can understand. Spikes are pointy at only one end, and only the points can kill, if you are going to make it so that touching the sides of an object can kill do not shape them like spikes.

I died and never respawned. I'm stuck at the top of the screen and can only move left and right. I can travel through blocks.

Well if you want to be really pedantic, Vaatula, this is not a Jumping Line OR a Jumping Ray. A "Line" in geometry is completely infinite in extent, and a "Ray" is a "Half-line", that is, it starts at an endpoint and goes to infinity. This game should be technically called "Jumping Line Segment". (Not so catchy though, eh? :P)

I really think this should be a hard badge. I've failed in this more than other hard badges and have tooken a way lot more time. =.=

Very nice. I really like the challenges, and there were sooo many. But, I also would have liked a proggres bar and for you to reduse the respawning time. ( The respawning time is really annoying, that was my worst problem.)

I FINALLY BEAT THIS GAME. IT TOOK ME AN HOUR AND 45 MINUTES. I ALMOST CRIED. I WAS MISERABLE. I EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT ENDING MY LIFE BECAUSE IT WOULD NOT END. BUT HERE I AM. I FEEL TO RELIEVED. IT'S LIKE 30 TONS HAVE BEEN LIFTED FROM MY SHOULDERS. 5 STARS. GREAT GAME. WOULD PLAY AGAIN IF I HAD THE ABILITY TO BUT I'M VERY TIRED AND NEED SLEEP. I LOVE YOU GAME DEVELOPER. YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL. KEEP MAKING SHIT LIKE THIS. IT'S LOVELY.

Awesome game, I almost made it to the end, but I landed on the spikes after you took control... I must have missed all the checkpoints XD
