I've tried just about every game from this developer, and none will run in Safari. Most give a "setup has failed" message. one game had a comment of using other browsers.

Fantastically boring. Why would anyone want to mine that field when they could instead collect the debris from the billions of tons of spaceships that want to stop me from mining a few minerals?

The game does not load "[10] Setup has failed: Loader bypassed" Same issue for me as for others. I tried allowing 3rd party cookies because that seemed to fix another game with this error message. It did not fix this one. I use firefox as my only browser.

my tip is to expand aggressively, upgrading hard to defend miners and then falling back into easy to defend geometric shapes ie: square/octagon etc. typically composed of 3 laser with one upgraded into a pulsar and as MS come upgrade into THELs, you only need thels for MS, and as long as you have enough cells of the 3 laser component you can get by anything. launchers are shit at any level since they miss and do such low dps, only useful if your thels are out of range of nuking the MS. repair stations are the best companion for 3 cells and on mission 7 i had a station for each cell composed of 2 thels and a pulser
the key factor is energy to allow for agressive expansion and THEL usage

For an extra challenge, try completing Mission 9 without mining anything. The enemies' awkward spawn positions, forgivingly slow movement, and bone-headed AI allow you to build and recycle long sequences of relays and solar stations faster than the enemies can destroy them. It takes longer to do this than to complete the mission in the intended way, but boy, is it fun.

At first I thought "wow, must be super hard for its medium badge to end up on the list of Rarest Badges". Then I noticed that the badges have only been here a couple months.

This game has everything!! except multiplayer. All you'd have to do is add multiplayer and a barracks to train ships.

I really don't like this game. It seems to demand an unreasonable amount of micro and lacks the tools for you to do so. Things like multiple unit selection, and a pause hotkey. And despite whatever the tutorial says, due to full refunds on unupgraded things upgrading stuff isnt worth it half the time. THELs in particular seem very underpowered. I wonder if any of this massive selling micro is even intended at all given you can't select many units quickly and how the game gives advice to the contrary... Perhaps Creeper World has spoiled me. :P

If you are getting the Loader Bypassed error you just need to allow cookies from casual collective. The game will load perfectly then.

Google Chrome, Pepper Flash: motherships keep making that noise after I restart mission 6. Mute does not help, so I have to refresh the page.

On Firefox, there is no animation. Image doesn't update until I click somewhere then it changes to another still image.

Medium badge. First try: lasted 14:52, FUUUU... Second try: built enormous base, after 17 minutes was experiencing horrible lags, spent 3 minutes selling buildings to lose the game.

Figured I'd take another shot at Madness after playing the game again for badges. I genuinely don't know how it's possible. I don't seem to be able to find a combination that gives me enough energy to power defenses while still having enough firepower to take out the rapid waves and enough resource generation to prepare for the upcoming waves. I've gotten to maybe 60%, at which point the amount of enemies just overwhelms you. Even with several fully upgraded missile launchers, the delay between shots is enough for the rear half of a pack of swarmers to just tear through your defenses.
