Found out the reason for "[10] Setup has failed: loader bypassed": You need to accept third-party site cookies, then it works (at least for me). What a shame for CasualCollective. Please upvote so others can see this.

Additional tip for both medium and hard badge: try to start mining furthest from the middle, defend each 'mining zone' individually and everytime you mine out an area, scrap everything and move closer to the middle. By the time things get too hard, make your maining zone in the middle which you should fortify heavily with upgraded missiles and ton of lasers - it should last long enough. Don't forget to save the material for missiles, too, since you'll have your mining dried out soon.

@HeavyDuty I followed your advice step by step exactly as you said, but it made no difference. I've refreshed the page, I've completely exited FF and reopened it, but still every time I open this game it just says "[10] Setup has failed: Loader bypassed"

There's a lot of fiddly space games out there that I just can't get interested in. I'll admit - I judged the appearance first and thought this would be one of those. I was wrong. It's immensely engaging and really well-paced, and I'm glad the BOTD brought me here.

The mother ships are so impossible, even on easy mode. I put down like 5 missile launchers and it still did absolutely nothing.

To all those saying the BotD is hard, here's a tip: The pirates only come from the right, and strength depends on your percentage. You can have an enormously beefy right safety net while largely just allocating the left for mining.

I actually liked this BOTD, it required more than clicking 'play', but also offered a slight bit of challenge while still being pretty easy.
Though it looks to me that 'some' people wanted it to be given to them... sure, ok.

2) Mining missions, enemies come according to your %. You can mine some asteroids (small area, easy to defend), and recycle and rebuild your base once they are dry. No need to hurry
Seems they fix it... I got mother ships on 3%... So be as fast as you can. And tyhis is an impossible "easy" badge for me

wont even bother trying to get this badge again. had 2 attempts. the tutorial is poor. and the game difficulty shouldn't ramp up THAT fast so quickly for an EASY badge.

FYI everyone, this game is broken because UNITY & JAVA GAMES ARE NO LONGER SUPPORTED BY FIREFOX. This game can now ONLY be played on Internet Explorer or (for Mac users) Safari, or on older versions of Firefox that aren't automatically updated. First I had to allow third party cookies. I hate cookies and don't trust 3rd party cookies. Second I can't get past the first easy mission. I am being slammed with so many enemies faster than I can build defenses. Forget mining. I can't get the minerals I need. I find this game to be extremely annoying and frustrating. I don't want that badge. Not even for a shiny kongpanion. 1 star!

if ur all getting tired of seeing me it's because I'm warning you that Kong is giving a bunch of badges to old games. Look at the uploads rate. People moved to apps and mobile and kong is hurting. I love kong. I know how to fix it but they don't care because they are running around acting crazy that the glory days are over. They are being dumb. this is the same badge from a month ago. Game stop will drop em when they figure it out.
