There should be secuel. It should have sandbox mode and a mode you could play as virus. And for story mode i have an Idea:You have to grow an organism managing multiple cells at a time and if you join some cells you could make a tissue and if you join tissues make organs. That would be a nice idea.

I'm taking biology right now and this is really helpful. So much easier to remember how a cell works with this. Great that it's fun too :D

i really could have used this game when i was taking my life science course freshman year of college... Remembering all the stuf tht cells do and are made up of is quite a task

Congratulaitons, someone finally did really well with creating a game that was both somewhat educational and interesting to play. one of the only flaws i can see is its length, and difficulty. It would be really nice to see some sort of continuation or optional difficulty increase. Still not to take away from the fact that this really is a pretty nice game.

I love this game. I did find it severely disappointing that there was no sandbox/survival mode where you just grow your cell and survive increasingly difficult waves of viruses just to see how long you can make it.

For the final level first off make as many slicer enzymes as possible and at least 20 lysosomes then recycle 1 of your mitochondria and one of your chloroplasts so you only need 4 peroxisomes. Every time some viruses attack you will get some FA dont use that unless your making lysosomes. Dont worry about defensins, because your slicer enzymes and your lysosomes will suffice. Then all you need to do is travel around the dish and collect all the glucose(for fatty acids) and amino acids you can till you can mass produce 100 toxins.
great game 5/5 loved it

A fantastic little game. Out of the theories around about the origin of the platypus (evolution, badly drawn animal by wizards who found a creator's bursh (terry prachet's the last continent) and coming from space) this makes the most sense to me! Thanks for a fun hour or so distracting me from my end of school, summer evening in.

So how is it that this game can make learning fun and the topic intersting,,yet the school I payed Thousands and Thousands make the topic boring and something of dread?!?!?!

Sometimes I thought that making a game like this would make studying much easier, and you certainly proved this. You should make more games like this one, people may actually learn something while having fun ^^

Nice game with an interesting concept. Which makes it all the more disappointing that there's so many bugs preventing you from completing it. The first time when I tried the final level, I ran into the bug that stopped the Golgi body from working. When I read that it had been fixed I tried again, only no I can no longer move the cell around (It still deducts the ATP cost for it when I drag the membrane, but the cell does not actually move). This is really annoying especially when it happens after you've progressed a good deal into the rather long final level...

I hope my cells won't go as berserk as this one does...

Anyway, nice game, brings back some memories ;)

this was a really good game it was realistic (except platypuses being from another planet) i really liked the story though the game has some decent music to fit the game. Also for the last level i had 2 peroxisomes for each mitochondria or chloroplast at all times i suggest you then start with about 30 slicer enzymes, still not making toxins, then started to create lysosomes until i at least had 20 and then racked my defensins gave me 50% protection then FINALLY started to make toxins which you should use with caution as they make viruses come at certain parts. This worked on my first time also replace anything you lose. Overall i also learned a good amount of biology from this ^_^ thanks cell craft!

I hated biology -- it was boring. But this, this in fun and I think I've already learned more than my entire year of Bio. Keep making educational games, you've got a knack for it! :D

The AI needs more work. It's annoying to see my "defenses" hunting a virus that is far away when there are virus closer

Definitely gotta respect a game that tries to teach and entertain you at the same time. As someone who already knows all the terms and functions, it felt a little tedious having to slowly work my way through the dictionary of steps to actually get a functioning cell. I wonder if the number of steps might also discourage some others from continuing the game, but either way, definitely want to see more games like this.
Also, after I built my first fatty acid, the game froze. Still got music, game screen's just dim and frozen.

i have learned very much and i passed!!!!!!!!!! tanks to this game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i love this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1000000000000000/1

There's no free NA in the petri dish.
If you build a chloroplast and use up all of your NA when you don't have any lysosomes, you're stuck. You can't recycle it to get NA back because you don't have lysosomes which require NA to produce, but there is no NA in the dish.

to beat the alligator lelvel, recycle your chloroplasts, increase your membranes a couple of times and load up on lysossomes, slicer enzymes and the shield thingies... also, remember to keep moving so you can get some glucose and aminoacids...

Haha, this appeared just in time for my biology class. I'm sick of cell combat games where the cell is unrealistic and has no visible means of motility. Yay for this!

Last level was hard for me until one attempt where I didn't create an toxin and just build up my defenses. Took me 50 minutes to beat the level, but I learned a few things. The timed viruses eventually stop coming. You get hit with more viruses at every 25% of infection. You only need to create 50 toxins as they count for 2 outside the cell, and for some reason even though 10 Peroxi(???) are the maximum auto build will not build over 9. It keeps telling me I have the max even though it's at 9. That's kind of annoying when you need all 10 of them to keep your cell from killing itself.
