I just showed my life science teacher this game.. I got my C+ up to an A+ because he quizzed me on the insides of a cell, and he forgot about the game and didn't post it. I win!

I resourced my way through the last level. ATP: OVER 9000, NA: 25, AA: over 2000, FA: over 100. G: over 50, Membrane: 200/200, Defense: 50%/50%, Ribosomes: 30/30, Mitochondria: 10/10, Chloroplasts: 10/10, Lysosomes: 25/25, Peroxisomes: 10/10, Slicer Enzymes: 50/50, Defensins: 50/50. All this, then I released a swarm of toxins, reached 100% in seconds and... nothing happens. It didn't register, or it was so overwhelmed at what was going on. My cell broke the game. Now all I can do is collect more Glucose and amino acids, maybe see how long I can keep all the organelles active without free radicals blowing me up. http://imgur.com/ewJ2u

why this game is so awesome? the membrane is somewhat glichy... graphics are not that well made... story randomish... ... ... why kongregate wont let me give it 6/5 ? good job!

Educational video-game...not a very popular genre. Then this game comes along and proves it wrong. 5 stars my friend.

interesting game... why platapuses? and what the hell are they doing entrusting the lives of an entire species with a single phychoathic robot?!

."Okay kids, tonight's homework is to read chapters 4, 5, and 6 in your biology textbook..." "Awww..." "...Or play Cellcraft, the video game." "YAY!"

Overall, really awesome, but there are a few factual errors. For one, there are organisms besides plants that have chloroplasts.

Every level I played, my grade got increasingly lower. I got A+ on the first level, but D- on the last one. It's not my fault that science confuses me.

@fbipeeper You're not being forced to learn. You don't have to play it. You don't have to watch the movies. Its designed to help you learn, but you don't have to pay attention to that.

I think i found a bug... at lvl 6, when you are figthing against the last viruses, the mitochondrion stops to produce atp... so it is impossible to win.

Bug! sometimes in the 6th level, a virus RNA gets stuck near the nucleus and no more viruses advance + all slicer enzimes stay around the viral RNA doing nothing

I really enjoyed it and once I started, I was hooked straight through til the end. Those interested in refreshing their biology vocabulary and basic concepts on cell structure have access to the essentials but it's not forced on you. If you just want to play a cute/funny game, you will hardly notice it's educational! I am now a big fan.

I found a small bug. When the auto-production of perixosomes is on, it only creates new until the 9th. When it should create the 10th, it displays the message of "you have reached the max amount"

Loved the game, especially now that I'm done with learning this stuff and can see the masterfully simple way you explained concepts which can seem really complicated. :D Great idea, and great story.
