First the game does not leak of accurate description for they can de bound in the ecyclopedia if you care to read. Second it leaks of another thing. Free-play levels and level-creator. The game is way too short. Neverless great game 5/5.

not a bad game even though i'm a action, defence player. But a little warning about the lack of NA would have been nice now i'm stuck lol.3/5 cuz it's to edgucational and pretty borring for those like me who just want to see something blow up.I did favor it to play it later when i dont fell like doing anything :-)

For those of you who are complaining, it isn't supposed to be an entirely accurate depiction of everything that goes on in a cell. If they had explained everything, it would take hundreds of levels. The difficulty of the levels is actually quite comparable to how difficult it is for cells to regulate everything at their level. The lessons aren't meant to be boring, they're meant to be (partially) educational. Finally, your difficulty with the game may just show that you can't multitask.

To beat lvl 8 just get >50 fatty acids and >2500 ATP, and do not buy any poison until you do... And when you do get them - just burst buy 50 clicks worth of poison (1 click = 2 poison) and win.
With ~20 lysosomes and ~30 slicers per wave you should be able to defend yourself easily until you farm the required Glucose to get these amounts of fa and atp.
When you do buy the poison, you might want to use any remaining atp to move around, and evade some of the viruses that will come at you, in order to slow their intake. You should be able to reach 100% and win pretty fast though.

If you try to move and you accidentally move your mouse outside of the window while dragging, the game won't let you drag again or do anything related to the cell...

Excellent, excellent game. Too short!!! But I always think games I like are too short. Educational, fun, cute movies, good strategy. What more can you ask for in a game? The only issue that I had was my recycled AA stopped being added to my AA total in Level 7, which made things rather sticky. No worries though! My plucky lysosomes and slicers pulled us through!

Appalling design - smack you in the face with boring lessons, tacked on the side of a game with terrible controls, and generally no idea WTF is going on at any time (and I studied Biology at university level!)

5 tutorial levels which attempt to teach you unrealistic biology and basically waste your time. And 3 ultra hard levels, for which you are completely unprepared and can only rely on your luck. 1/5

i did lvl 8 in 3 minutes! first you recycle all chloroplasts, then make sure you have 2500 atp and 1250 amino acids, then make as much poison as you can (and pray that you dont die). try it!

Lvl 8 just flood your defences, and see out the storm of viruses. Then stockpile what you need for 100 toxins.
Don't produce toxins except in a huge once-and-for-all batch.

Enjoyable as this game might be, it must be mentioned that the biologists involved are outspoken supporters of "intelligent design", that is, creationism. And it shows in the game:

Excerpt: "It is not an educational game, it is a miseducational game." Worth keeping in mind.

ugh... i just made cellular suicide but i was expecting a huge splash instead of a popup saying: Your DNA just died. =S

The last bit isnt hard. Go slowly and always have tons of defense (not just defence cells either) and then when you get near the end spam toxins and it will finish the level without killing the viruses

So I figured releasing massive amounts of toxin in a quick burst would be an effective way to beat the last level... Then I realized that new viruses are summoned at certain levels of toxicity. Let's just say the alligator miraculously developed AIDS.

Not sure if anyone else has run into this glitch, but at level 8 when I failed/died (lysis), my "cell" remained without a membrane, everything zeroed out, and it was stuck like that. I went into the menu to try and restart it manually, and it got stuck on the "Died (lysis)" screen. Had to restart the page altogether.
