Tip for level 8:
Get 50 fatty acids, 1250 amino acids, 2500 ATP. Then instantly toxic the monster by pressing the button 50 times. This allowed me to beat the level in 312 seconds.

There was a weird glitch in the last level where the nucleus disappeared while I repaired it. Other than being unable to click on it, everything else went fine.

I beat level 8 by building up fatty acids and sending out a ton of toxins at once. It hit 100% just before I was overwhelmed by diseases. Of course, I had kept my defenses maximized before then.
It looks like you need 50 fatty acids to produce enough toxins to win.

This is a great game it teaches players while the player is having fun.A fun yet understandable way to learn about cells.

Played this game as a kid, now in high school I can hold a conversation with a biology student without doing the subject B)

One of my all time favourite games.
It was fun and educational; a combination many games claim, but very few actually achieve.

during level 7, when jeeves dim the light it doesn't sprinkle glucose as it said it would do. So I have to choose if to die because I don't have ATP or because I don't have fat acid

this is more a biology lesson than a game, but a bloody good way to teach cell structure. Having no interest in that subject, I'm afraid you lost me early on, but this is a very clever piece of work with real potential as fun educational software

Wow. Just. Wow. This is awesome! Its really fun, but last time I checked platypus dont have chloroplasts. Other than that, one of the best games I have played. 5 out of 5

Now make a gamemode where you are a procariotic cell (No nuclueus or mitocondia). I would love to see how they made do without them :P

Smelly, I'm pretty sure this is teaching you about real cellular components and how they work. Me and my 6 year old are really enjoying it.

I just had cell study in science and i frigin bombed the test because of this my 7th grade teacher was seriously mouth open amazed!!! I love this game so much!!!! comment up if you are with me

male platypus: lets send are only hope with a physcopath robot who wants to murder the cell we spent years working on
female platypus: That sounds great and if the cell dies then our species is dead forever

I'd love to see a sandbox mode for this game, where you can change lights/heat/drops(FA,AA,etc..)/virus invasions etc..
Or a multiplayer version, where you can produce your own 'viral rna' to attack the other cell(s) (like the toxins you produce on the final level), called "survival of the fittest"

wait so platypuses could build rockets and robots and there so intelligent 100 years ago but now they cant even talk or solve a math or biology problem?!?!

You should be able to guess this given the names of these substances, but fatty acids are a component of phospholipids. And yes, you are right about phospholipids making up the cell membrane.
In plant cell walls, the main constituent is celluose, though the composition will differ from this in other cell types.
(was the triple post really necessary?)
