Basic Gun proves to be incredibly effective against Goliaths due to its big ammo capacity (half health in each burst). Shotgun any Bomber as soon as it enters the screen. Even when the bomber jumps to your dome, you still have time to kill him with shotgun.
Rockets kills instantly a mammoth when it's in his firing position.
Replay the game if you fail a wave because the money is not returned for purchases like ammo.

i'm stuck at level 14 with no money to buy proper weapons. how am i supposed to fight armor when left with only a pistol??? throw shoes at them?

How good is the game? Been around since 2007 and only 12k badges earned. Froze on the first level twice before I decided to just give the 1 star and walk away.

Not hard at all. Shoot base (weak) guys in head whenever possible. Shotgun all groups and bikers. Rifle invisible guys. Nuke larger, harder groups in later levels. Rocket mammoths.

"Use nuke on mammoths" -> they're immune to them. "Have your laser ready" -> enemies come one by one and laser is a group weapon. "Our nukes didn't do anything to the goliaths" -> they take damage from nukes just fine. Can you please stop giving bad advice.

For anyone with problems: aim for headshots, use your pistol if possible, be especially attentive at the first big stealth wave; rockets and lazers for goliaths and mammots, shotgun for crows of two+, rifle for fast kills and pistol for singles and goliaths(u only need 3 Magazines!) ...

You can tell this game is of very high quality, with lots of debugging and effort put into polishing it up before release, because the tutorial tells you to "Aim and shot with the mouse." Three cheers for CerebralGames. Mediocrity forever.

This game is about as fun as punching yourself in the face 1000 times over and over again...I'm basically stuck on wave 14 for ever now cause I don't have enough money to repair and buy ammo....it's a wonder how this garbage got badged...

It's just the pathetic reload time that gets me. It would be an incredibly easy game if the enemies were big enough to see or if you weren't using a six shooter.

This game has potential, but only if it gets a serious work-over, because it's much, MUCH too difficult for players to ease into the game at the start with how shoddy the aim can be, not to mention the fact that swapping weapons seems to break the game for me.

It would be really nice with some red letters stating "Out of ammo" so i don't have to waste 3 seconds before realising i have to change weapon, in that time i can take tons of dmg.

Game DOES NOT SAVES GUNS YOU HAVE. Means you have to buy ammo again and actually spend more money than you would otherwise.

The suiciders and bikers can become a pain, they come in and leave way to fast and its even worse during swarms, and some of the weapons weren't as good as they could've been, for example the pistol only having six shots is annoying; it should have at least 10 or so shots.

I had to accept that I couldn't get consistent headshots and the retry that resets ammo and extra shields to 0, but the game gave me enough cash to not have to restart the game even tho my shield was hit pretty hard each wave. Not using the extra shields and buying only a few rockets each time was the strat for me. laser(/gun) highhp's, rifle(/shotgun) the rest. Obviously this game is lacking on some points, but try comparing it to the Idle and P2W garbage we get 10. years. later.

"The mamooth"? really? "I still don't how you see the stealthed units" shadows and show themselves while shooting. "armored goliaths" easiest killed with basic gun... wut? intro showing a big city that I have to defend. actual game... I am the only gunner alone with some girl with enemies coming from wasteland-like territory. Army of destruction? Me and a girl makes an army? The enemy are the army of destruction? Single medium badge less awarded and by me considered harder than a lot of hard badges? Check. Domes which you thought was gonna do something but was just extra armor? Check. I don't get it, developer.

This game is pretty shit, no pause, and the bullet doesn't even follow, you have to click DIRECTLY ON THE UNIT TO HIT! 1/5 just because I can't give 0. This game is the worst thing I have ever played.

It's easy if you have good aim... yeahhhhhh - aim like a fooking cyborg korean 12 year old hopped up on energy drinks and the souls of the damned. Please, I don't suck THAT bad but I still can't go around picking perfect head shots with a slow reload pistol when the 2nd level demands this or the whole base blows up with 3 kamikazes. This is a bunch of shit. The end.
