Your "Save Game" function is not really a "savegame", it saves last checkpoint. what a dull feature from consoles... no 5 star for console-morphed PC games! let 8(16)-bit leave without that crap.

Fun fact: After you get double jump, When gliding up the path, when you see a small island on your right, you can glide to it and get a hidden message from the creator(s)!

I love the retro feel and I like the dialog. It was interesting enough to make me read and consider it. Thanks for sharing this game with us, ChainedLupine!

How did i not know about this game when it was new? Really good stuff. Great retro graphics and music. Nice metroid-inspired gameplay. Really good story for a flash game. I feel very.. fulfilled.

there's a secret in the area where you get the double jump ability. While gliding up towards the exit, jump on the big rock on your right for a message from the creator.

For those stuck : click on "M", it shows a map and even an arrow to the direction you should be going for a short time !

Could you please add a just "Save" button? I really don't want to exit whenever i want to save. Could you also add a way to change controls? Why the random x and c?

Okay, what I meant to say was that these easter eggs reveal a what, a T-800? T-1000, maybe? Bent on killing Sarah Connor while dreaming up purple pterodactyl-dogs only to watch the way they fall down chasms, hitting all the mines on the way down.
Great writing, my man. Keep up the good work.

great game! i really want more and wait eagerly for the new expansion. if you continue the storyline though the endings will have to make a difference in the whole storyline. if it has a huge impact then you'll have to make 2 seperate storylines or make just a few differences depending on which ending they took in a single storyline.

@FemmeFatale: You can go back even with the lava pool in your way, it just takes a bit of luck. Don't glide or you'll fail - use a double-jump to get past the red field and then immediately start gliding once you're past it and you'll make it into the green upstream field.

There is a problem with the game. If you missed the 4th gem, the black one, you can't go back to get it. This is because in the purpose level, right around where the lava is, is a gravity field down. You cannot get past this, so if you go through that one part, you are screwed.

Ummm...Olley don't you know that when you jump you still glow? When you glide THEN it stops glowing. When you jump you reflect the bombs in mid-air making the boss go down. Then you hit it some times with the spikes and then he again goes up. You do it some times and the boss is destroyed.

The second boss is completely shit. He throws boms on the right side (independent if you stand there or not) which explode and you run in and lose life. since you have to deflect the bombs to him but alway deflect in an angle to the right side (no matter how you hit the ball). The bombs he throws on the right side never can be reflected to him. It is a fun killer of an otherwise good game. thus 1/5

This really needs an easy mode -- I get killed by those first two inchworms far more times than I want to admit and getting past the next couple... Leave it to say I can't manage a single memory and you need 5 for the easy badge. Then again I can't manage to get any badges in any of the fancy pants games either which makes practically all of the quest things impossible for me.
