In Alter Ego i think it was, at the bottom, if the elevator catches you while your moving to the right, it'll push you into the wall and you'll run in and be stuck.

Ok - I beat the boss - here's a tip for anyone who's having trouble with it. At first I thought you had to bounce its bombs back at it with quills, but if you're glowing, they'll also get reflected back at the boss.
Anyway.... anyone have any suggestions on how to get past the temple entrance? I'm stuck. =(

Ah, ignore me. I found the last crystal Although I didn't open up the green lift to get the running power up, just jumped up onto the platform.

After getting the double jump, I activated both crystal podiums, but the door at the far right wouldn't open up. Right now it seems impossible to continue.

I got the upgraded spikes but it didn't tell me how to use them and I can't break the weak wall down. The ping tells me to go through the wall down underground but I can't :/

I can't seem to find the upgraded shooter spike thing, I seemed to have gotten the double jump too early and the ping says go through the door that i need the upgraded one for, I checked the comments and no one has commented on it. It could just be me missing it, Can someone help?

Well, as I was riding a platform upward, I moved towards a wall and found myself on the other side of it. I don't think that was supposed to happen; now I'm kinda stuck...

Question: Why not make the artillery-style quill-shot require the extra button push? More often I end up using the gun-style shot.

I am stuck. I went kinda straightforward the whole time without looking for any items or such. and I am currently in a room with mines on the right side and a too high cliff to normal jump up on the left side. I used a savepoint in the middle and got stuck.

Wow, controls so loose, Smach Bros. would be jealous. Yet another game I wanted to like, but just can't because the controls aren't good.

Brilliant game. Beautiful music, stunning art, great platforming engine, amazingly well thought out storyline... Oh, the good things about this game just never end.
I liked finding the little "author's notes" too. So many secrets in this game... :D

the boss is a little too hard, becuse of the boss, when they get THAT much health, it just gets annoying :P otherwise great game 4/5

This would be a good game if the guardian battle wasn't impossibly hard. :( It takes an infinity of hits with nothing but a little smoke coming out, and shoots and bombs all over the place. I really hate it when it throws three bombs, and two of them really far off to the right... Either jump and fly (and get killed off by the raygun), or try and bounce the third bomb back (no chance, the first two will destroy you - or you lose the blue glow while jumping, and that's it for you).

I don't understand what to do to break down the wall(the one that says is crumbling and i need more strength. i have all four powerups.

So far I found three diamonds. One near wher you get the glide powerup, for one you have to press a button in the top right of the starting area and the last one is near the end in the left of a big cliff (Skim the sky). Does anyone know where the last one is?
There's also a secret in the top right where the first boss is (The big ball).

So I can get the boss down to the last(?) hit when he starts to spit three bombs at a time. any pointers for how to deal with 3 bombs?

quite nice game. but jumping should be on up key and interact on X or whatever. i never understood why another key than up should be the jump. shooting while jumping is necessary too. 3/5 for now

I love this game a lot. The only thing I would change? A few times you use the word "personal" when you mean "personnel". Not a big deal by any means, and it doesn't diminish the brilliance of this game.

this. is. awesome. metroid + quill-panther = awesomeness. i did find a glitch, though. when i got to the snowy mountain area for the first time, there was a yellow forcefield that i wasn't supposed to be able to cross yet, but i walked up to it and hit attack and i could walk right through it like it wasn't there.

The ping ("N" key) points towards the door in the mountain that needs the crystals activated to open, but the door won't open because it seems that I haven't gotten all of the crystals. The ping won't tell me where the last one is, or the door didn't open.

1.6.2 is live! This fixes the black screen crash. I've also added a new error catching screen in case this happens again. If you see it, please screenshot it and send me a bug report! (Be sure to add what you were doing at the time, too.)
Next version will be done by tomorrow, and will include some more bug fixes (all minor, non-game-crashy sorts) and re-tune some of the game play mechanics. In particular, the boss fight is too hard!

love the retro platformer style, just like everybody else. could use a few previously suggested tweaks, but the gameplay is beautiful. I especially love the whole quill thing!

This game is absolutely fantastic. I love the storyline, it gives such a feeling of confusion, but still gives a destination and goal. And, wow! When I found the [spoiler] and figured out that I was actually a [spoiler]!! Didn't expect that at all!!!
