Got both the endings... Have to say loved the game... Awesome story and amazing concept... One of the best games on Kongregate!!!! :D

buildabear214 Are you talking about the last boss? If yes, I was stuck at the same boss. So then I looked at the "Best" comments. There was a comment talking about how to win all the bosses and get the good and bad endings. I saw there that he said/wrote that you have to jump on the bombs the last boss throws.

@uberpenguin When in the game, hit escape to bring up a menu. There is a button there that allows you to teleport to start.

This game is absolutely STUPENDOUS. The story is engrossing, the game itself is very smooth, and it brings back a lot of Nostalgia...thank you very much sir for making this game

Awesome game!!!! I would suggest that the recover pillars only give you a checkpoint if you press up. This way you can have a checkpoint at one end of the world, and not have to run all the way back if you forget to do something....like....I did....and if a checkpoint is active, then you don't need to press up to get health. Basically just reverse the roles of giving you health and check-pointing....if that makes sense...

Wow...seriously, may be one of the best games on Kong. The graphics, the sound and music, the story, the controls, the overall gameplay, actually having to explore, and figure out what you need to go where, or how to get past an area or defeat an enemy; not to mention all the care and effort and time ChainedLupine has clearly put into it (finding the fun facts was one of the coolest parts...I found three, is that all of them?). Everything about this game is just awesome. 10/5

I've played all of 10 seconds and already had numerous flashbacks to my younger years sitting in front of a crappy tv with a rectangular controller or sometimes that little black joystick. I have to say that this game is definitely going on my favorites if not for gameplay then for the feeling of nostalgia I get when I even hear it. Thank you for this.

This is the kind of game that draws me to Kongregate. The lack of inspiration that seems to plague the big studios is something that you can find among independent games. The game is fun to play and has a heartfelt storyline. Pleaseeee...make more games around Kalevala.

did this game freez on me? the part that says final conflict or sumthing like that. the room wont move when i ru jtino the sides and i cant do anything. thers just a spikey ship thing floating in the middle

I'm stuck - in the last room with this statue, which should start emitting light - "interact" in this place doesn't work - what happened? i can't escape now from this place and can't add the gems in their place..?

My only complaint is that it's impossibly hard to shoot enemies, because the quills go so far forward and you can't shoot while you jump.
4/5 for that, otherwise it's absolutely perfect :D

Oh really? Fuuuuuuuuuu it did reset EVERYTHING... time to restart for the badges, im not getting mad because this game is real fun AND MORE THAN WORTH TO DO IT JUST ONCE!

About the waypoint system: I'm receiving a lot of bug reports that the ping command isn't working properly. It does work properly -- But only if you follow the order of waypoints that the ping command gives you *exactly*. If you deviate and grab something earlier than you are meant to, then it will lead you to places you've already visited or possibly can't get to. I probably won't change how it behaves because the waypoint system is meant as a guide to new players. If you've figured out how to get to something earlier than you are supposed to, then congrats! Now you're on your own. :)

There is a fairly major glitch where if you hit a yellow barrier with your spikes twice it moves with your screen and the barrier disappears

Oh and to clarify, I did not make this game in 48 hours. But this game is based on the code for a game I *did* make in 48 hours. That's much simpler. :)

Love the game, only changes I'd suggest is giving the ability to change some of the controls and allow for shooting while running and jumping. Now I've got to go and see if I can find the other endings. o.o
