Damn, I was so busy downloading the soundtrack from the official site that I almost forgot to give the game 5 stars! Beat it for the good ending, I'm still curious for the bad one. This is a game I was playing for the actual game, and not just the damn badge. Amazing.

what does i tmean yellow forcefields can only be penetrated while running? does it mean you can only run through it or that you have to shoot while running, either way i tried both and neither worked

I really like this game, but it would be better if it didn't lag/stutter every couple of minutes. I'm using a pretty recent Core 2 Duo with 4GB RAM, latest Chrome 16 and Flash 11.1. My CPU usage isn't even high (rarely peaking at 50%) so not sure why this would happen.

excellent game, great music, epic storyline, wonderful graphics, couldnt be better! (except for that one place, ancestors tomb or whatever? cant get in yet) Definatly 5/5 and fav. keep designing games like this, and youll become well known!

I beat this game with the "good" ending and i never got the badges for completing the good ending, or for getting the double jump pwer up. it makes me sad

I loved this game! I found everything exept for 1 life. Rally clevel how some of the items were hidden and the story line was cool too. An AWEOSME game.

I was pretty sure that I was gonna miss the "statue" you need to activate to get the good ending, thank your for having the game remind and show me where it is. 4/5 cause there's too much backtracking after you get some upgrades.

@Goneguy That wasn't an issue with mine...perhaps get a better computer? Check for spyware/adware? Scan for virus'? Update FLASH? all of these things could be an issue for you. I suspect any number of those could be the issue seeing as I regularly check, update, scan, and make sure my computer's clean... and I have no problems. Oh, and I don't have a crappy computer either.. that could help

Alright, found everything, didn't get all in-game achieves but meh. The only thing that I didn't like, was the fact that I couldn't shoot while jumping ... many times those floating globes of pain kept firing from out of range and I couldn't shoot them down so I could properly attempt to explore for more secrets.

I haven't beaten the game yet due to getting tired, and the current chair that I'm using being uncomfortable, but from what I have played, the game is absolutely amazing. This game reminds me of some old school platformers that I played on the computer in my younger years, and that is definitely a good thing. Great job on the game, and I believe that my only recommendation that others have pointed out is the ability to fire while jumping; though that would make a certain boss battle too easy. Keep up the great work!

I was very frustrated with the controls and none of the options were remotely close to what I wanted. Full customization would be awesome. To me X and C feel backwards on the default controls, too many years of Mario where jump is on the right. :)

honestly I really am not liking this game, i find myself just running back and forth across the map to find that one area I unlocked with a switch.
saying "hmm now what did THAT do?" isn't helpful and constant back tracking isn't much fun either.
sorry to be the guy to deliver bad news, but that's my opinion.

Some people may think this is a stupid statement, but...this is the best pixel game I've played in my life. I've played many great ones such as Castlevania and LOZ, Minecraft too, but this is the BEST.

First, where's the 6/5 button for rating? I came for BotD, stayed because the story pulled to me.
Second, comments about month old comments: @Meosy123, that was my first thought (Umbreon with wings); @RaistliniltsiaR, My thought on seeing that boss too.
Third, my only thought, and this can come in with the later updates, is mid-air shot ability. There's a few times, mostly at the very end, that I went "Darn, wish I could fire in mid air. Guess I get to take a hit and speed bounce a bit."

A little more quality manipulation would be nice, as it would stick sometimes. Laggy keystrokes can KILL the mood very fast.
Great narrative, and the puzzles were fun. ^__^ 4/5

What does the ending with the songs do? I got them, but it froze and wouldn't do anything. I got the pillar to work though. Anyone know?

Fun fact: I found 4 fun facts (the glide lvl was almost removed, the thing about what we are playing as... forgetting the other two), all 4 gems, all 30 memories, and can not for the life of me find one of the health boosts. Great game, but I would not mind a post-game ability that points out where "missed items" are. 5/5

I liked this game, which is noteworthy because I don't like platform games and I only played this one because the easy badge was badge of the day. The gameworld is well designed, the controls are very well implemented and it has a story interesting enough to make me want to uncover it. For a platform game, it's flawless.

Legend of Kalevala? Magical land? Someone got this all worng, Kalevala actually exists, in Russia, south from Kola peninsula. Just a bit north from Sankt Petersburg... How can Kalevala be a mysterious world?

-i need some teleporters. :D
-shoot in mid air should be possible.
-the map should be a little more detailed.
-signs or even better a second dog/wolf following you giving you hints if you don't know where to go next.
-more memories for those like me who like your story and a skip function for those who doesn't.
-maybe some hidden places? or teleporters into other levels that you can only enter if you have enough memories (i mean levels like the one where you can get the double jump, levels that are harder, bonuslevels something like that).
personal questions:
i always miss things like a making of where you show how you work do you have something like that?

wow some of these awards are way too funny. "deal with it you made an enemy self terminiate" and "seriously you locked me in a room filled with monsters just for that" but seriously the room with monsters is really hard to beat.

My shooting quills won't work. I've definitely got the ability, and I've tried every version of the controls. I'm using IE version 7. Does anyone else have this problem?

STUCK players, hear ye! If you did activate 3 crystals, and the map points you to a blocked wall (rightmost area), and you get the message that you don't have enough active crystals, fear not! Refresh the game and it should be fine. (ESC + Save, just to be safe..)
