Yeah, got the blackscreen too. If it's anyhelp, i went there before i got the double jump and then couldn't go back without the error once I aquired the double jump. Yes i tried to reload the game.

Overall, great game! I'm kind of obsessed w/ retro platformers, and I love the feel of this game.
Couple gripes though -->
I too get a black screen after getting double jump, so I can't go any further as far as I can tell :/
Also, the ability to shoot whilst jumping would be really nice.
Keep up the good work; I can't wait for the full version of this game!

For the 4songs : - 1 Near the start (you need to activate a switch in right side of the same area) - 2 Near the place where you get the wing, you need to destroy a wall with the upgraded spikes - 3 Under the big ancestor statue, still by using the upgraded spikes against the small wall. - 4 After passing the door by activating the 3 crystals, jump into the first pit, then on the left side we can see the entrance for the last song

As an aside, if you're getting the black screen when you reload a game, then the fix will repair that too. So it's not necessary to start the game over if you are willing to wait a few hours for me to fix the bug and post the update!

Good news! I've found the cause of the black screen bug. I will be releasing a fix today that will keep the bug from causing a black screen and completely ruining the game for some of you. To those who are getting the black screen: CONGRATULATIONS! You're totally sequence breaking my game. :D

have found all health packs , 31/30 memories (!) , 3 secret "fun facts" , the "secret" achievement but somehow the last (orange) gem keeps eluding me...where the hell is that thing?

personaly, i love the slightly old-school graphics and the solid, griping gameplay. add this to the slightly mysterious story and its a perfect game. 5/5

Could we get an another key or something for glide because there are places that i dont want to double jump before I glide.

the timing with the defender is tricky, because bombs tend to explode in the air and not on the ground and it would be nice to see how many energy the boss has.

I found a glitch, on the first door (That goes to the ancestral place with the cipher) if you enter and exit quickly enough, the game glitches and stays as a black screen.

How in hell do you defeat the defender, I've tried reflecting the bombs back at it they miss 80% of the time and 19% of the time they detonate on ya.

Great game. There's a classic feel in the art of this game - graphic-wise and story-wise. All in all, amazing game. I skipped the ending though. It would be good if I can watch it again.

Lots of potential. I would hope that there would be a similar, more in depth and lengthy game to follow. Has a very classic metroid-inspired feel, especially with the backtracking. Kudos and five stars! Most of the bug fixes are in other posts, such as shooting while jumping.

There's a secret tile that reveals some info about the game. Although it seems it can only be triggered once? Can you make it so we can re-trigger the event. I didn't get a chance to read it. lol

having the same problem as Draven, i got the double jump (too early?) and now can't enter a certain room, the whole game just goes black. I'm not sure which room it is, but i think it's in the area you're supposed to go to after you get glide.

You can knock certain objects/enemies away while you run (HINT HINT)
You can only hit the guardian when it's down (ie. with C)

Well, no, it's not. The bombs go right through it, the fire is too low to reach it, and the bombs don't have an explosion radius, so it ISN'T weak to them.

next question how many fraking hits does it take to defeat this thing and sometimes the bombs don't bounce and you get nailed by them might want to improve collision detection.

Found a glitch. In the Alter Ego area, when you go down into the underground area, the lifts can force you through the walls, and you can't get back out.

a trick to get past the black screen dealing with the upper area of the second map.
if u have glide and double jump, u can get on top of the floating block on the first map near the ground, fly to the side, and get up. this ignores the errored doors entirely (and is actually faster)

I fixed it. I forgot to get run and stuff, to activate the last podium. Ping tool glitched a little. Rating went back up. :D

I seem to be stuck at the mountain. I've gotten double jump and all, but the very top door, the way to the right half of the mountain (I assume), is not opening. Anybody have a glitch fix? I used ping and it's telling me to go there...

Got the bad ending, went back got all the gems. Enter the area to redo the end boss battle and it gets a black screen, even on a reload. Great game but I would really like to see the good ending without redoing the game.

seriously? I'm tempted to drop it a rank just for having save points every time the screen moves. Add some kind of sense of danger will you.
