This is a Great game.. especially considering it is a Kong free game. The AI is a bit easy to abuse, though. ere is some advice for players: You dont need archers.. and can ignore enemy arches. Toy in the back field, use fast moving units to pull and trap, and flank, rinse repeat. Taunt with the rest of the army. King rating every skirmish.

This game is simply excellent, and I would love to see more.
The ony thing that can be problematic is the way that when the action of the battle is actually onoing, there is no way to pause in order to do something else.

Someone please make a sequel, expansion, remake, etc. For the love of god! One of the best strategy games I've ever played, simple, entertaining, and the artwork, while simple, is surprisingly beautiful while still capturing the tone of the game. Channel 4, Preloaded London, please keep making games like this.

@12_Hundred This game is far from historically accurate.
1. One of the earls you face as the vikings was actually on the vikings side, for he betrayed the saxons.
2. The Saxons were not known as The English, Saxons were German. Anglo meaning English, Saxon being German. They were Germans living in England.
3. It is on record that King Harold was shot with an arrow, the knight theory is invalid.
4. Men-at-Arms were not infantry, men-at-arms was a term used for esquires, knights, and lords. They would be cavalry, not infantry.
5. The correct troop count at Hasting was Normans: 6,000 Anglo-Saxons: 6,300.
6. They only reason the Saxons lost was that when the Norman knights were routing the Fyrd (spear militia) chased them, leaving a gap in the shield wall, which Duke William quickly exposed.

The multiplayer isn't working or it's just me? I try to connect to my friend but it always says that he isn't online or something... With me too.

Good game, plenty of tactics and what-not with morale to take into consideration as well, although the campaign is pretty short and multiplayer doesn't work. If there's a sequel, I'd like to see a skirmish mode where you can set specifically how many units you have and things like that.

"What? Why did you retreat?!" "They called us an ill born fen rat, sire!" Lovely. But this game is fun, however it is far too short of a campaign.

Anyone who has played strategy games will know what to do. Considering its an educational game, its pretty well made. Flanking etc is pretty realistic.

very very impressive game i agree with others that there should be a sequel and in the sequel you should make the campaign longer over great game 5/5 stars :D
