1/5 the combat system is awful. It's entirely random. There is a delay of several seconds between when you hit the correct key and when you hitting the key actually registers in game.

Alright, so I've managed King rank on missions 2 and 3 and master general on 1 (all on hard mode). Has anyone managed to get King on mission 1 on hard mode? If so, how did you do it?

One of my favorite strategy games! I hope there will be a sequal, Or even another battle like the battle of Waterloo.

The fact that this command can be given astounds me: "Alright men, shoot your arrows straight up in the air at about a 90 degree angle!" "But sir won't that-" "I AM YOUR KING DO AS I SAY!"

Really great game, the only part i didn't like was having the enemie's entire army outflanked only to be taunted into submission

Simply one of the best strategy games i have ever had the privilege to play. It's simple game play and the amazing story make it so.

seriously one of the best strategy games i have ever played. but when 800 men run from 120 like seriously .. the 800 would have a higher morale because they outnumber their opponents 8-1. na great game well built. 5/5

As Harald Hardrada I could have done with Tostig Godwinson by my side in that first battle, given that both were likely to be at the battle.

Imagine a newer version of 1066, but call it 1944, a game just like this but ww2 based, or even mayby a 1812 version?

If there is a game out there that is worth a sequel, it is this. One of the best I've played, simple, beautiful, and historically correct.

I so wish there was a colonial version. The Indians and The Colonists or The Patriots and the British. There would be captains and that kind of stuff. That'd be soo cool.

Vikings:Yes we are winning only 2 archer squads from the normans left! Normans archers:"Keeps taunting until my moral dropped" viking king:RETREAT WE ARE SCREWED IF THEY TAUNT MORE

I guess the whole 'Sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me!" thing doesn't work to these fearsome warriors.

The trick to beating every single battle is to get as many troops as possible, put them in the back, and spam taunt. You win in like 7 turns at most.

There's so many different strategies that can be accomplished with this game, waiting for the enemy to attack first just to meet a wall of shields, charging the enemy without warning, or just withering their morale away and striking them when they're at their weakest. Very excellent strategy game, and for the fact that it allows different factions with different strengths and weaknesses, 5/5 unquestionably.

Yeah, general: why u running troop: They called me a onion eyed oaf. THis game is complete crap, seriously when in history has a army retreated because of insults, yes maybe if their outnumbered, but not if their insulted. 1/5stars for this game.
