why do you get mission failed if you leave the mission area, one of the bombers i had to kill on level 3 was "out the mission area" so i chased him and failed because of that? surely my mission area is wherever they were...

just for the sake of realism, in a plane "stalling" does not refer to the engine stopping. Its when the wings are at too great an angle to the airflow and lose all lift, making the plane fall down, but not stopping the engine.
feels like a beta, needs checkpoints and pause, but this game has great potential, just needs some minor changes to make it much better.

Great game, the Polish contribution to the Battle of Britain is under-rated. Few minor complaints: It's irritating when dialogue boxes obscure the plan/distance markings. Also, weren't yellow identification markings on 109s used only on the East Front?

I would ive it a 4/5 but for different reasons I give it a 3/5. First, checkpoints! Put a checkpoint after you deal with an encounter of fighters and/or bombers. Next, the game gets boring after a while when you play campain so spice it up with some challenges or secondary targets suck as AA Guns. Third, put a kick button in the multiplayer lobby.

ok: this game has much potential. The MP-dogfight is funny. But I spend too much time waiting for the other players to press "I'm ready".
The campaign needs savepoints, definitly.

Agree with all comments re pause and checkpoints. A couple other things: It would be nice to NOT spend the first two minutes of each level climbing to altitude- start me in formation! Also, I'd like to be able to skip the dialogue. I've already heard and seen it; enough already. Finally, fix the AI. The field of vision is so small I don't know when I'm flying into an ally's stream of fire sometimes. They'll even come up behind me, when I'm taking out a kraut, and shoot me down because the AI has them shooting at the Germans regardless of allies' location. The AI is the biggest structural weakness in the game.

General tips: Use the throttle to catch up with enemy craft. Follow enemy planes when they dive towards the ground, they will always pull up in time. You will never run out of ammo or fuel. Your team mates will never be shot down so use them as bait and don't worry about them. If a mission doesn't seem to progress you need to restart the mission.
Mission 3: five waves of planes ; just try to avoid stalling or getting shot. Prioritize the bombers when they appear since they will fly out of bounds if you don't take them down first.
Mission 5: the trick is to keep below 50 ft whilst attacking the gun ship and the ground installations since they can't fire back at that height. The order of targets (as they appear) is: 1) a gun ship, come in at 40 ft firing, 2) two enemy fighters, 3) five enemy gun installations (same as for ship), 4) two more enemy fighters, 5) a radar station, and 6) a V1 rocket silo that looks like a farm.

Great game. But it defenitely needs checkpoints, or smaller levels. In level 2, the bombers go outside the mission area, if you follow them outside the mission area, the level ends, if you don't follow them and let them be, you fail the level..?

single player is 6/5. but multiplayer bugs, change plane option is only in co-op and no chat box neither in room or in game is a 2/5. shame.

I was willing to try it, but the lack of checkpoints really did kill the game for me.. I was completely bored just going through the first mission, then when the enemy plane shot me down (I didn't even see that it was firing bullets to be honest.. whats that about) after waiting for what felt like 10 minutes as Kellet put me through several seemingly pointless/unnecessary tests, I found that I had to start all over from the beginning? No, thank you. 3/5 being generous

Pause, Checkpoint and better friendlies AI have been mentiones - id add a better visible height-meter to that and some sort of indication what way an enemy faces. Right now, when an hostile plane is off the screen you only have the arrow pointing in its direction.

Overall, a fun game. Unlimited ammo and fuel makes it feel a bit simplistic, though. Also, it is absurdly difficult to stall. Finally, Angels 22 means 22,000 feet. I failed the mission because I followed the spoken instructions.

this game sux, especially the campaign, no chekpoints, the A.I sux, slow and stupid, and I did 3 missions and still no aircrafts unlocked, you can't even choose to be German. :S. 1/5

On German keyboards, the [z] and [y] key are swapped, so a key configuration would be good (or map [y] also to the [z] key action)

Guys, it does tell you how close to the ground you are! Its that number in the upper left corner, i dont understand why people are complaining so much. (Hint: the closer it is to 0, the closer you are to the ground.)

Its more exciting if there isn't any pause button but checkpoints are needed. Very thrilling, bang-in-the-action dogfighting is my favourite! 5/5 There isn't any major reason not to!
