it is a very good game. i do like it. i give it 5/5. but i found my self end game too soon due to money problem. but dont twink the game on just because of me. i sure you have a good reason it like that.
Thanks for your comment and THANKS for your 5-star rating! Much appreciated. You should open a current account in the game to give yourself more flexibility with your finances and race often. Also we have a feature coming soon that helps with this... (reply from Playniac)

What a frustrating game, I win the first 2 races, then loose the 3rd. So I go back to the start to try the first race again and lose over and over again... what the hell has changed? Such a shame I was really getting interested then just totally turned off it.
Hi. Sorry to hear this. Did you see a warning on the race summary that your squirrel had low energy? that's what caused them to lose. If you didn't get the warning, let me know what energy your squirrels had? Thanks! (reply from Playniac; please rate us!)

The game isn't bad. The major thing that turns me off from playing is that the days just add up when you are doing nothing. I feel management games should be more casual and relaxing. Like when I am looking at the shop I can't take my time to read when each thing does because the days automatically add up. I think a good idea would be to increase the day after races by a set amount depending on the race.
Glad you enjoyed it! Interesting point. The clock does slow down in places like the shop - maybe we'll slow it further... (Reply from Playniac. Your rating helps us to make you more games!)

I enjoy this game very much, the only thing I don't like is that towards the end it takes a long time to level up, so I'm racing the same race over and over again until I unlock the next one at the next lvl up. My stats are maxed and I'm just racing to gain the exp needed to move on. Also, shop items seem pretty pointless to me, I almost never used the shop and came in 1st most of the time. Rated 5/5 regardless of it's faults because of it's successes. Keep on making these awesome games!
Hi. Thanks for the rating!!! I'm interested to hear more about your game, and what level's you got to when those dynamics emerged. Also if you used something else instead of the shop - e.g. more training. Will message you direct. (Reply from Playniac. Your rating helps us to make you more games!)

This game is everything I hate about the Banking system and then a squirrel racing mini-game. Left after first billing period. 1/5
Fair enough - horses for courses. Or should I say squirrels for squirrel races... 1 out of 5 though... harsh... ;) (Reply from Playniac. Your rating helps us to make you more games!)

I have been trying to play for 2 days. I keep getting a dns lookup failure in chrome and server not found in firefox. I'm using the sprint hotspot on my phone for internet. this is the only game I have found that has had problems like this.
Sorry to hear that - but servers and ISPs is beyond our control I'm afraid. All I can suggest is to try it again on a different connection. (Reply from Playniac. Your rating helps us to make you more games!)

The game starts out fun at the beginning, but after some time the questions start to arrise. How do the stats actually weigh during the races. What are the stats of the oppononent squirrels. To often it just feels random rather then that its based on the stats and based on what you do. Even if you wait till you have 400/400 energy you see your squirrel dip slow at the end of a race and get passed 1 or 2 times at the end makeing you just drop out of 3rd place or if lucky just in 3rd place. It gets frustrating.
To make it better: Explain better what the stats do ingame, give options to see the stats of opponents (by giving stats of opponents it would also explain why i would lose the free race with my overtrained squirrel) and make the races feel less random. Try to let me actually understand why it always happens at the end of the race that i get passed by 1 or 2 others and by that make me lose it. So far 3/5
Hi. Good that you are racing with full energy. As the game goes on, the opponents get better. We show in the position indicator when they have stats that are significantly better than you. Use race power-ups to stop those overtakes. Also try using shop items for boosts. Hope that helps! (reply from Playniac)

I'm rating your game 1 star because devs begging for 5 stars rating in every comment answer is really not what ratings are here for.
Hi. Yes we have politely asked if people will rate us if they can. We're putting lots of time and effort into developing the game and also supporting the Kongregate community playing the game; making sure we answer everyone and being as active as possible, which we know a lot of Kongregate users like. We hope that people will play the game, enjoy the game and rate based on that. But also we hope you won't rate us down based on our active participation. (reply from Playniac)
Hi, It's a management sim game...Not for everyone for sure, but we hope some of you will REALLY like it... (reply from Playniac; please rate us if you like it so we can make next version!)

This game needs to be played more. I love it. Me, not really used to accounting/ business games (young so not really into it), actually learned a little from this. The squirrels are cute! And it's even better that you guys are trying your best to read and reply to each comment. I like that. I'll rate it 5 stars ^^;~
Wow - thanks so much for your comment! And thanks for your rating! If you know other people who will enjoy it too, please spread the word. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)
Thanks so much for your kind words. We really hope that lots more people will enjoy the game and rate it like you! Please spread the word. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)
Those squirrels are demanding! Keep them racing (or training) and their stats will rise. Watch their energy levels... (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)

Whoa, channelfour/playniac, i go look down at the comments i see every post has a reply by you, i must say thank you for being one of the few devs that reply to peoples (sometimes very painful) questions, and being one of the few that will go through a lot and put an actual reply. There isn't enough developers like you i hope you read this to see how much the so far 6,839 people who have played this game and I very much appreciate it.
Aw thanks so much for your comment! We care a lot about this game we made so we want to give people feedback. Plus I'm a coder so a fast typist. ;) If you're enjoying playing it please do spread the word. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)
Ah bad luck; unlucky getting it twice in a row. We'll make that story let a bit less tough in the next update. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)

Not too bad, I like it and it's one of the best management games around, three things though:
-levelling is too fast before level 18, then it becomes boring, it's just like farming.
-having more than three squirrels is worse than useless
-you should be able to buy more than one thing at a time from the shops, buying teas when you're level 20 takes daya in the game.
Thanks so much for your kind words! One hint - level up your homes to avoid needing to buy energy drinks. Also for multiple squirrels, use training on the weaker ones. Have fun! We did slow the clock down in the shop - I'll check that is still working as expected and slow it further if necessary. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)

Great game, these management games always get me addicted. Although I still don't understand how did the squirrels in the 1st race all of sudden get some ultra boosts, so that I keep finishing last with my well-trained squirrel. And also the boost bonus should also pop-up when the fast forward is activated. Nevertheless, I still support you with my 5-star rating!
Thanks for your kind words and 5-star rating - much appreciated! One hint - make sure your squirrels don't have low energy when they race... (reply from Playniac)

Production values yes are top notch, so I agree with the other reviewers on that point. I love that you stick to management and also keep it simple (like you could stay with 1 skwurl). However, because I could write everything down, I want a popup complete overview that pauses the game. Complete to me would include: Squirrels/Properties, Monthly balance sheet, Accounts ledger, Upcoming calendar (including expected account changes). I also think story should happen every month for every character and we should expect it in the accounting updates. Also, why not let those stats become temporary and allow boosting beyond the level cap? Skworls should also desire to stay or leave - much more real.
Are you a game designer? ;) Lot's of ideas there. Thanks for your kind words. At the moment you can pause the game and see your main stats. The stories are intentionally random - that's some of the challenge. And you can boost beyond level caps with shop items. I LIKE the idea that squirrels mood might make them stay or leave - though I could see players getting upset when they'd invested a lot in a squirrel! (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can keep going with this!)

It wasn't clear to me where the "game" was in this game. I can see the economic simulation but the inherent challenges and strategies available aren't real clear. Then, I can see how the races themselves might be the central part of it but there's not a whole lot to do in them... at least not as long as I played it. (The pendulum reflex game isn't really all that compelling after having done a dozen races.) The production values are top-notch. There is not a single flaw in the graphics, menus, or UI flow. Unfortunately, I just can't seem to find the game. (I want to, I really do!)
Thanks for your kind words about the production values and graphics, menus, UI - much appreciated. It's a management sim, so for those that like those games the fun is in that, but recognise of course that isn't for everyone. (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can continue developing this!)

Pros: cool graphics. /// Cons: the menus are confusing, and the gameplay it's too passive, when I saw the name of the game, I thought I could control the squirrels, but I can't.
Thank for your kind words. It's a management sim, so yes you don't control the squirrels but oversee them as their manager. (reply from Playniac; please rate our game 5-star so we can make next version!)

honestly this game is bad to me. i got to the point of being able to buy my second squirrel so i did and got a squirrel with better stats then my first and all of a sudden i can't win a single race and am forever in debt. so i throw this game out the window and look for something that won't frustrate me for no reason at all.
Sorry to hear that. When you are entering 2 squirrels, try starting with lower level races that you are more likely to win, until the stats catch up. Also use training if you have it. You can also sell your 2nd squirrel and 2nd home to reduce your outgoings if you want. (reply from Playniac)

This game isn't very fun. I tend to not like games that I think I'm doing well at for about an hour and then suddenly lose.
Sorry to hear that. If you are using cash only, you can lose if you run out of money. I recommend you listen to Jarvis and open a current account. ;) (reply from Playniac)

Honestly have no idea what the stats do. Strength? in a race? stamina? prolly obvious; focus? well he is a squirrel, but what does that *mean* in regards to racing?? also noticed some errors while in the bank screen, between cash, current, and savings not adding up
Hi, All the stats combined help the squirrels in races, but if you look at the specific race tracks you will see some use particular stats more than others. That's what the coloured sections of track indicate. You can also see how your opponent's stats compare. (reply from Playniac; we need your 5-star rating to continue developing this game!)

It would be great if there would be a button to skip the day or if it would happen once I exit the shop or something, but it's really annoying not to be able to stop and think for 2-3 minutes what to do next while looking through the options.
Good idea! At the moment you can pause the game. Also the clock slows down when you are in the shop and stops altogether when you click on an item. (reply from Playniac)

I think I know how this game started. "What does IRS stand for?" "International Racing Squirrels, duh!" Is that right, Channel4 and playniac?
Hehe. Actually it started when we read this article about the relative running speeds of different animals! http://playni.ac/irs-sciam (reply from Playniac; your 5-star rating will enable us make next version!)

I'm enjoying the game. I like the concept of having to pay bills (although I've lost a couple times already). I would like a bigger variety of announcer comments.
Hi. If you open a savings account, then go into the savings account you have a cash machine that lets you transfer in funds from your current account. (reply from Playniac)
That sounds like a temporary outage, possibly with your ISP. Have you tried loading the game again since? What part of the world are you in? (reply from Playniac)

The pre-pre-loader for the pre-loader took longer to load than many games take ... and the pre-loader kept me waiting longer than the Queen Mum waited for a clean dunny.
... I want me license fee back.
There's a LOT of content in this game - so it does take a while to load but we hope it's worth it! (reply from Playniac; please rate game 5-star so we can make next version!)
