the more i play, the lower my rating gets ... slooow loading ... frequent loading sequences ... annoying advertising ...
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
you would think after waiting forever for the game to load up, the individual levels would already be preloaded ... but apparently not ... so what was getting loaded at the start then?

I'd enjoy this game a lot more if it was ONLY the death cards matches, I could do without the adventure gameplay in between

This game has the potential to be very great, but it's so glitchy that it often ends up being more annoying than enjoyable.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
it looks like a well made game, but the actions are choppy and the load times are slow. i want to play this game, but its driving me away from the game, as opposed to kongregate

After playing more than a few levels, now I understand what they're complaining about.. This game reminds me of ico, especially in the high-quality sounds and such.. If it was just the death "cards" game, it'd be okay..

I keep trying to think of anything this game actually does well. The platforming is horrible in layout and control, the puzzles are more frustrating than clever thanks to the bad physics, the checkpoints only work half the time, the shadow effects are a pain to use, jumping is only semi functional. All that makes doing the time challenges a horrible pain rather than fun. I guess the death card game is kind of fun, though it seems sort of thrown in there compared to the rest of the game. I guess I should be thankful, I'd hate to deal with actual platforming bosses given how poorly implemented everything else is.

seriously once you finish the achievements if you enjoyed the game go to the host site it has a lot of bonus features that add to the game and shows like minded people and who would have followed the path you chose
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
pooly designed levels appear to be made just to be frustrateing not clever or intresting. long load times and frequent crashes.

So far only played the boardgame, very much reminds me of the card game from Final Fantasy VIII (the best one - how many minuses will i get for saying that, sure are alot of VII fanboys)

i really hate that constant NOISE in the background...and there's no way to turn it off except to turn off ALL sound!? also very slow with lousy controls.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I look away for a second while it's loading and when I look back at the screen I see "THE END" and I think to myself "Did I lose somehow?"

I like the Othello-ish strategy game, I like the philosophical analysis, and I like the style. The platforming is just not that great though. Your character feels slow, sticky and out of control with strange momentum, like I'm playing a platformer from the SNES days.

Nice graphics, but it would be less tedious to just go to the library and read about philosophy than play this platformer.

Horribly pathetic game. Load times are awful and the game still lags after that. The controls are awkward at best and if I wanted to play the game on your website I would have gone there. Stop trying to make me leave Kong every 5 seconds. 0/5 rating.

You should create a death cards mini-game. That's the most enjoyable part of the game, since the platforming is being way too picky for my tastes.

Meh. It's a poorly done platformer (too much CPU, level "loading times," I've seen more physics simulators in Flash that were more responsive) as a wrapper around a personality test. The card-playing AI makes foolish decisions, which I'm not sure is a good thing or a bad thing since the game's outcome sometimes depends on the deal of the cards.
This is making me hungry for Timothy Leary's "Alter-Ego" game, published in the 8-bit computer era. It was a personality test where the choices actually mattered.

The game seems very good and I really want to play it. But it doesn't get my keyboard's input correctly and takes forever to load anything.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I have the same problem as TheLightDemon, The preloader and characterthing works fine, but when it actually starts the game it crashes.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
:( Flash keeps crashing when I try to play, but I've heard from others that this game is great so I hope my computer is eventually able to run this game :D

Dress up as an insufferable hipster, play dull platformer, quit when game asks you first (probably of many) stupid pseudo-insightful question.
Nope.
