bad control, dull puzzle, unrelated 2 gerne (board puzzle/platformer) comes out randomly, have badges which takes forever to get... what? this game even trying to make me think with those silly-totally-unrelated-to-game philosophic qustions?

your physics settings for friction are way too high and then drop way too low. when you land or reach a new platform, it feels like you are walking on glue with cement boots. then once you get going, you are on greased ice. unfortunate since the levels and message are inspiring and fun. also the AI for deathcards is terribad

Wow. A mere 1,062 people have the hard badge. That REALLY says something. I have never seen a hard badge with that few awarded. Hell...most Impossible badges have more than that. I played this game once..the day I broke my foot..now I'm at back, at least for the medium.

This truly is one of the greatest games around here.
The controls could be better, but it's still well playable. The concept, artwork and minigames are excellent, thanks to the developer!

im not sure if you all notice but its always faster to play in internet explorer, thats how i figured it out, the speed of internet!!

I got a little worried seeing all the comments about being taken off-site, but that's really not necessary. You can complete the game within Kongregate just fine! And then at the end check out the website to see how it assesses your life philosophy. Fun and entertaining - both for the platformer, the puzzles, and the philosophical questions.

....uhh... yeah, or, you know, instead of it being "symbolism" on their part, it could just be that, shadows, in real life, are also affected by where you stand.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Very well thought out. Highly symbolic. For example, in dark areas, where you stand determines where the shadows are cast. Basically, they are saying that in grey areas, what is right and what is wrong is subjective: up to you. I don't quite agree, but still, brilliant.

this game makes it unnecessary hard due to sluggish and unintuitive controls. Too bad, would've been a great game otherwise. :-(

Deathcard game is fun: I wish we could just do matches (and trainings too). The questions are very dull imo (and of a caricatural manichaeism), but the comparing part (as well as the 'map') is interesting in a game. But the platform bit... I don't think I'll have the patience.

Just finished it, though I don't know why... This game had more bugs in it than Fallout 3. Anyway, the concept was great. I loved the quotes, loved the deepness, and loved the ability to compare my thoughts to other famous people. The gameplay was the worst headache I'd put myself through in a long time. I'll attribute half of it to the fact that I was using XP Service Pack 2, but... I'd be much more fond of a quiz version that goes from question to deathcards then shows your results. Nice job with the deathcards by the way.

Protip: You can increase your jump height by triple-tapping the spacebar. Keep in mind that it also increases your falling distance off heights. Does not work when on ladders. Works best when the game is lagging, which for me is always. @ChannelFour: In your next much-needed update, please do NOT fix this issue. It happens to be the only reason I haven't rage quit yet.

I created my character, and within minutes my catchphrase became "WTF just happened?" This can be a good thing when the idea is to be abstract and the story isn't so simple. But it's not a good thing in terms of faulty mechanics that have me ripping my hair out to try to get time trials. I think this game would have been much better and less aggravating over all if there was more focus on text and puzzles than platforming. Or, if the platforming mechanics were just... I don't know... better. 4/5

A good idea, integrate philosophical thinking in a game, but above the technical problems concerning the game in itself, I just found very manichean the choices that you have to do when you are at the end of a level you know, to choose between "yes" or "no",if we consider the questions which are asked to the player, there is a lot of thing to say...

This game is slower than the music I am listening to... which is saying a lot! Lost my interest after the easy badge, which is a shame because with better pacing, it would be a fun game. As it stands, 3/5.

This game is pretty well coded, except for jumping and the slide on the last spirit level. I can't tell you how many times I've been running, hit space, and nothing happened. That slide also needed to have those blocks higher. The slide gets stuck sometimes, while speeding through others. Other than that, great game play. I like the idea behind the game a lot, too, but my religious self and philosophical self are somewhat separate, and many of these questions I felt had nothing to do with philosophy (is there an after life? My answer to that has nothing to do with my answer to philosophical questions).

Ah woops.... when I went back to get the time achievement thing... I've been almost purposefully putting in the opposite answer... I thought that it was only the first answer you choose that counted... although I suppose it is a good thing you can change your answers if you wanted to. :)
but other than the loading time, I overall like the game.

I like how in the body world and the 5th level the moving stone head, the floating totems nor the stars have no collision detection after a few tries, so when I try to jump onto something I just fall infinitely into the blackness, waaay past the clouds layer.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Character movement and general physics are too finicky, and this is a serious problem because of areas that require precise timing or placement. Getting all the star and time achievements is a frustrating grind when it should be an interesting exploration challenge. I also dislike how conversations move at a fixed speed and the only other option is to skip it (why not the tried and true "press a key to advance" style of text?). I'm giving this a 3/5 for deathcards and the philosophy parts, which were pretty cool, but it's too bad the rest wasn't.

I was going to give this game a try but then platforms started to not spawn when I died a few times trying to collect all of the stars on body world 5....yea...if your controls are going to suck you better make your game work so we can at least bang our heads against the wall instead of being literally impossible. 1/5

here's a FANTASTIC IDEA. 1) stop asking me to allow you to store junk on my computer. 2) stop trying to get me to link to your site. i'm on kongregate for a reason.

Wont Load.......I was debating if i should go to the site then i scroll down to the comments...and frankly Its not worth it -_- 1/5
