If you make it to the last level this game will make you hate yourself as punishment for doing well.
Other than that the rest of the game is just a decent idea that's been poorly executed. Hard badge isn't quite as difficult as some people are making out.

Controls in this game are the most idiotic I have ever experienced in my entire life of playing all video games. Sure some have little glitches or errors but this one literally was so half-assedly thrown together that I personally would like to smack the shit out of the designer
I have never gone out of my way to leave a bad review for anything. Bravo

erg.. nevermind, that display prior to entering is saying your best so far apparently. Not what you need to beat. A bit counterintuitive there, and still seems like too tight of timing even for a "challenge"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Seems like level parsing time counts towards the timer for speed runs. Example: Body lvl 1 says 1:10 is the time to beat, but I always start at 1:03. Combine with already tight timing, and clock keeps running out while waiting for that boulder to eventually drop after flipping the switch near the end.

I'll be frank. It's NOT a good platformer. The controls are mediocre to annoying and the jump distances are often too short. Re-getting the stars everytime you respawn at a lamp is just a drag with no value. That said it's also a very unique and original game idea. I love the death cards, comical "enemy" designs and the surrealistic world. This is one of the hardest decisions at rating I've done :3

I didn't know this game was here!! I finished it on the official site! Well, at least now I won't have to try as hard to get everything done :T

This could have been such a great game if it had been done right. The longer I play the harder it sucks. Controls are so sluggish that sometimes luck is the only reason for success. The cutscenes interrupt the gameplay in a very annoying way. Collision detection is flawed as the physics are. Character won't climb, jump or just run over a 1px-step. Accellerated movement is a nice idea but realized poorly. It feels more like walking through molasses. And did you ever bother about timing? How should we be able to time certain actions if we cannot see the important part because it's off the screen? BTW: I wonder what the game does to my hardware? Sometimes it's getting terribly slow although it shouldn't. Am I mining Bitcoins for you guys or what? Sorry for being rude but atm this game is another shining example for how a great concept can be ruined by poor programing and no testing. Decent graphics and an interesting concept simply don't give you a nice game.

how the hell do I use the powers I win? I drag them onto the tray and they are there in my deathcards game, but for life of me, I can't use them from there. I tried clicking, dragging, ran the keyboard, .... grrrrrr

I'm not really digging this. It's a perfect example of wat the word "pretentious" means when used in a derogatory answer. I don't like when games attempt to be deep, yet clearly fail to deliver on the aspect of deepiness at all.

I really want to like this game more... but Fancy Pants has set a standard for the performance free Flash-based platform games that this one doesn't come close to matching.

Not really my type of game. I like puzzles but hate games that require precision platforming. It's sometimes hard to tell what you can actually jump on, as for the end of the level "boss" so for I find the AI too easy. I put out a 1,2,3 block and the AI nerfed it (-2 to enemy sides). The AI is too quick to use their power ups.

I quite like this game, it is slightly annoying that the levels take forever to load, and some of the puzzles make me want to tear out my hair (puzzles aren't my forte)
But the questions really make me think, and I love the map design etc.
Overall a good game! ;)

It's sad that my saved progress can't go over to the game's site - does that mean I'll never unlock certain trophies? It means I have no clue who this empress person I am is... Also slow loading and jarry in places - and time trial is annoyingly close, pop like 10 extra seconds on, my keyboard sticks!

:D I love this game, though I would like a little bit more control while using the mouse. I also think that the space bar ad the up button should have the opposite functionalities.

i can't believe the comments here, this game is awesome, beautiful, easy controls, and to have this graphics, i don't care for waiting, the quality is amazing! Favorited for shure

"Eternity's Allure" - I don't find it so alluring after waiting an eternity for levels to load... Fix it please - I'm here to play, not to wait 20 minutes of loading for 5 minute gameplay.

the control are FINE omg these are the easiest controls ever. so shut up this game is ok...maybe even better(I just started)
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Controls are terrible. No amount of high concept or philosophical wankage can make up for a game that just isn't fun. Streamline the controls and this game will be gold. 2/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I never thought you could make a philosophical game before, but this sure proved me wrong. I love how the mind-map works and although the platform/adventure part of the game is slightly stale, Death cards makes up for it. 5/5.

quickly becomes impossible. you need to completely reexamine your level designs. Body two, spirit two, and mind three cannot be beaten.
