Moreover, I'm tired of getting shot by people just because the game don't allow my sniper to climb up a roof and because my scout (not the one I mentione earlier) can't detect an enemy without being detected, too. And since the enemies are camping, they get full AP as soon as they move. Make the enemies walk around the place and you'll have a far better game.

As I already said, it's a shame because I'd like to love this game.
The graphics and sounds are very good to me, but a game isn't about the show, it's about gameplay.
I loved X-Com, I loved UFO, I really liked other games like these (like Fallout Tactics), but JA Online is just a pain in the ass, compared to them.
In those games, I could have a sneaky approach an plan carefully but JA Online only offers your soldiers to walk down a corridor with plenty of enemies ambushing all along, no place for any tactical wise plans.
And don't tell me about realism. Who would only take 3 soldiers to take on dozens of enemies ? The basic military formation is the binom (2 soldiers) and the basic squad is 2 binoms and a leader who can have a binom, too. (totalling 5 or 6 soldiers)

No. I quit the game. Permanently. He may not have a good perception skill, but a soldier standing facing an opponent, next to him (less than 4 metres in distance) in plain sight and plain light who don't try to hide... and my soldier in full health can't see him... that's more than I can bear. In real like, I'm really short-sighted and in that situation, I'd see my opponent.

I find it really difficult to call that strategic or even tactical, since there is only one path for your soldiers in almost every mission.
And when there are "secondary" paths, they are just small ways that quickly come back to the main path.
Add some turn limits (for archievements) that forbid you to play the "stealthy guys", that makes a really disappointing game.
It's a shame because it's a game I'd really like to love, but it gives great promises that it doesn't keep.
On the other hand, it's technically well made. I may be too used to the X-Com and UFO franchises for this game.

Went in one year the game appeared - no visible changes what so ever. Crapy unrealistic weapon characteristics and aufully inaccurate descriptions.

Please don't add gold bars as in the normal game!!We all know that if the players in normal game know that there is an ather version in kongregate with out those cold bars they were all going to join this version of the game in kongregate!!

And it really pisses me off that kongregate keeps stripping out all of my paragraph breaks, thus making me unable to read my own posts since an oddity with my eyes makes it impossible for me to read walls of text.

I can really only make two complaints:
1) The game is taller than my browser window, even with the minimalist theme I use to maximize the amount of space available for webpages. Along with that is the camera jumping around on its own instead of staying where I put it.
2) The mouse-intensiveness of the game is hard on those of us with chronic pain. Ideally every game would be equally controllable with keyboard and mouse. That way everyone can use whichever combination of the two is most comfortable.
Fantastic game otherwise. I noticed a bit of a typo in the tutorial, but I got so into the game that I can no longer remember for sure what it was, but I think it was "spottered" instead of "spotted".

File not found error on the 4 part of the level 33 mission; the one with the boat in the harbor. Three crashes in a row.

Somehow the guns used by the computer AI don't seem to have the range penalties? For instance, pirate missions: I've seen Pirate Sprayers with SMG trading shots with my Snipers? And Computer AI snipers trading shots with my Commandos equipped with shotguns, ran my mercenary close thinking the sniper could not shoot and instead I mercenary got critical hit for 147 points of damage at 3 paces? Think the game dynamics for Computer AI gun ranges may need a look.

Bit miffed that there aren't more campaigns that don't need the Campaign Pack to unlock - I really like JAO, but I seriously wish the devs could at least make some content available for us non-paying players.

Okay I give up. Does anyone know when the mercenary workshop will be available? Is it dependant on Reputation or Honor level? And I can't seem to pass mission 15 'What's Your's is mine'. After collecting the briefcase and defeating that heavily armoured machine gunner, hordes of endless enemies will pour out from the staircases, getting stronger with each wave. My mercenaries keep getting wiped out. Like, grenades would be helpful?

Several problems with this game: No grenades or smoke grenades / No knives or close combat weapons? Previous game you could have the mercenaries throw stun grenades, or use knives to stab enemies that run into you (night ops) also night time missions don't give bonuses to aiming or spotting for enemies that run under street lights? Even when my mercenaries were standing in pitch blackness they got spotted immediately whereas enemies running under street lights were not spotted?
