Nice game, would be nice to have an overlying motive, other than just avoid the monsters. Need to see what benefits the next lvl offers as well

This game needs badges so I can feel accomplished. Other than that 7/5. I like 7. Also one time one equals one and two times one equals two. You might want to fix that to maybe plus one multiplier. This because when I get the times one bonus it just adds one when it should stay the same.
UPDATE: Small platforms are now larger.

The idea is to increase difficulty in the late game. Otherwise, the game dinamic is just "double jump always". A few tricky jumps make the game more challenging, you only need to be careful with double jumping.

Geez. Such an awesome game. Being short is my only gripe with it. Maybe also having a shop for other upgrades would be cool, too. Like weapon power, running speed, etc.

so the more runs u do the harder it gets which means for the people who accidentaly fail like me it gets harder with every run making it eventually immpossible to do

My only complaint is that there should be some kind of indicator like an automatic pause if the cursor is outside of the playable area.

Oh, and also on the second run I already have almost 3/4 of the skills. This is probably the shortest games involving rpg elements that I've ever seen, and one of the shortest I've ever seen in general.

Like many people, I escaped on the second run. I don't know about others but for me it kind of kills the enjoyment when the end is that easy to reach. There's a reason that the usual format is you progress, you die, you upgrade, you progress further, you upgrade, you die...because once you reach the end usually there isn't that much of an incentive to go again. Idk, at least that's my opinion.

My thoughts: Hard mode is how the game's default difficulty should be, and leveling should have a more noticeable impact on the game in light of this.

Sorry, but intentionally making level ups increase difficulty is incredibly counter-intuitive. Why would you want to reward and punish the player at the same time for going out of his way to collect experience? Just design all skills to be helpful and put your ideas for a more challenging experience in the level design of another difficulty level. Other than that, 4/5.

Nifty; I remember that ending music from Creeper World. This game is quite easy, but gives a really good feel for a shooter Cannabalt.
The idea is to make the game harder on higher levels... I added some tricky jumps to keep players on their toes. Just be careful and dont double jump always!

Simple controls are nice, but I kind of would prefer not to have auto-fire on. It kind of sucks when you pick up a shotgun and then spend 3/4s of the time not having anything to shoot at. Besides that, it is a great game. Good job, dear developer person.
You have a point here, but I had to decide between simple controls and shotgun ammo. I think that the game is better with simple controls, you can play with one hand.
