I got enough money in 21 days and she said that she couldn't wait that long and was already married and expecting?????
Yeah, I've learned a lot from creating this. It actually uses Box2D collisions slightly (even though it shouldn't) to make things easier for me. That is what kills the framerate. Live and learn. My next game will be better. Thanks for playing, though!

Miner gives a great 8-bit feel. Going down into the depths of the earth to mine around, testing my luck is quite fun. I love how easy it is to get started in this game. I would've preferred background music, which changes upon going deeper into earth. Great work COLEISLAZY, keep it up.

When (in the 19th century) she knows that she's expecting a child 26 days after I left her, something has gone TERRIBLY wrong :>

Interesting Game was fun while it lasted, Pretty Simple and i liked it that way. managed to get 20.000$ on 15 days.. but i wish there was more than 1 ending and that you could enter the Saloon and the Sheriff, i have read all the other replies to other comments you have done i understand its annoying to work on the same thing all the time.. (not that i ever have done that in making a game) but the game is good as it is. deserves a badge on completing it :p
Thanks for you kind words! I've started playing around with a complete re-write which will be heavily influenced by the comments here. I've already got unlimited levels without switching scenes, and the annoying movement lag is gone! Here's hoping I'll get to finish it someday! ;)

Wait, I've been gone three weeks and my fiance not only has found someone else, she's already pregnant? This whole thing was a setup!
Man, I hate it when rich mine-owning dads trick me into mining their gold for them! This is like the third time this year!

Played this on Stencly as well, but I think I played an earlier version, this is greatly improved. I love your graphics and the little story as well and it's good to see a "Stencyler" working outside of the provided tutruials, Nice one mate! Great game

not wrong, only a little misleading, I played it 5 times thinking the ending would be different if I finished in fewer "days"

coleislazy - This is an excellent game. The simplicity really doesn't kill it; in fact, I prefer simple games with poor graphics over expansive, complicated ones. The concept is relatively motivating, though a bit recycled. My biggest complaint would be the slow gameplay, but it looks like you've acknowledged that already. Keep making games, I like where you're going.

Seems like an ok game but needs a little explanation or tutorial. You are just put into the game and dont really know what your supposed to do
I completely agree! It was a learning project and, to be honest, I got tired of working with my mess of code. I tied off the ends and released it so I could move on. Thanks for the feedback! I'll definitely take everything said into consideration for my next project!

so I guess while you made $20,000, your true love met another man and decided she was going to marry him, and all of this happened in about a month...

I love how simple and entertaining this game is! (not finished yet 'cause I'm being thorough)
... Just one problem though... I don't see how a cave-in could fall UP... but other than ignoring the law of gravity I think it's a great game so far ^_^

Pretty good, although I can't go any farther because I sold all my ores and got a bag... and I'm left with $1 and can't sleep D:

I love the ending XD! Thats the kinda behavior a girl who makes you pay to marry her would have. Though why are you all sad you have 20000 and theres still a big mine out there...

omg the mine caved in first game cause i immediately went way too far down then i played again and got caved in again and i was like oshi- but somehow i survived...kewl

Gah! Would be fun if it didn't take 90% of my CPU! Is it possible to fix this? or remake the game as a sequel? just a thought! id give it 4/5 if it didn't freeze my computer every 2 seconds, so I'm giving it 1/5 instead. Sorry!! ^.^
