Oh, and having a supply of in-combat items this limited really, really blows goats. Especially seeing how you can pop one for a "serious" attempt at a hard boss and then get utterly screwed by the board.

Even when you're lucky enough to set up a good chain, you'll occasionally just not do one of the attacks. Like, it's not even a miss -- you just don't even initiate it at all.

Great work ! I had a lot of fun, and now trying to unlock the gold save. Regarding the other comments, I find the 3x4 grid to be a good size (at least using scoundrel) and interesting enough for strategies (managed easily to get all gold). Regarding the comments on defense block being useless - it is true they are not the premium choices but their usage when combine with a power up for a offense / defense combo is good enough (kill one, and get no damages from the other monsters)

great game but you should either get rid of the defense block (we already have the hp upgrade and defense stat) or extend the grid by 3x2 (6) more blocks. amazing art and animation.

Just finished the game and i must say this is an outstanding piece of work! The storytelling is decent (though i did noticed several misprints ^^), the artwork is great and battles are almost perfect - not too short, not too long, a bit random, just as should be. One of the several games on kong i played till the end without getting bored =]

Great game, i got every gold trophy on a mission from max 4-5 attempts, so its not that total luck ownage after all (proper equipment like having 1 kind of color that covers whole enemy hp helps as well). Only thing that i desire most is an ability to reset tech skills (for example for some amount of those trophies), cause their usage is not that clear from the first time i play a class and it would be convenient to be able to reset them anyway.

Interesting idea for a game, but the grid is so cramped, especially with useless defense/healing tiles crowding it. With them taking up space and the lack of skill points at the start of a fight, getting gold trophies is almost entirely luck.

how to win: keep ur trenchcoat at max defense, put all points in hp, get all your offence stats from equips, be a warrior to get rid of crappy utility tiles.

Good game but with unbelievable and terrible graphical buqs who slow the game.Because of that needs twice time complete than the normal.

I don't understand why the tech points number needs to get bigger and bigger with each round, until it becomes one giant grey squiggle...

What an awful game this turned out to be, and I had hopes to actually play it before saying that. It freezes right out of the gate no matter what computer I'm on, internet browser I'm using, or number of page refreshes I click. Seems to be a recurring issue with a fair amount of recent commenters, so it might warrent taking a look at the issue.

Overall this is an excellently crafted game. I love the story line and the game play the only thing that really seems to suck is the lagging. It would be awesome if you could work on that aspect of the game 4/5.

Its rather annoying how you can have 4 of a color but only need two to finish off a guy but cant do a chain of two instead you have to do a full on four.

the colors look so similar that I can hardly tell the difference between the 2 different blue colors and the 2 different red colors. I have color deficiency.

The trophies for beating it in a certain number of turns are just silly, they're too dependent on you getting combos that can only happen at the whim of the RNG...

Needs a better way to target enemies. There is a specific enemy that I want to hit, and another enemy is blocking me from clicking it.

There are simply too many types of blocks that can appear in such a small area for it to flow well. Too often you're stuck using 2-hit combos at best, and breaking through a single shield at a time at worst.
