Yeah, okay, this game is mildly fun, and the storyline is somewhat compelling. But, could you please add an option for faster (or instant) enemy attacks? Waiting for three slow-@$$ enemies to smack me in between each playable turn gets very tedious, and there is a LOT of that in this game. I think many of us are capable of playing the game a lot faster than you're letting us. It's the animations that are the bottleneck. They were cool the first few hundred times, but an option to speed things up a bit would be great.

Basically good, but needs a larger grid, better enemy selection response and more power use! What is the point in three expensive skills if you can only use them so rarely?

As MouthOnly said above, I really want to like the game.. but i've either Frozen three times at the end, or that's the crappiest ending of all time. Also numerous other glitches throughout gameplay, in addition to some terrible grammar and spelling. Giving it a 2, simply because I was able to gut through it. Would prefer a 1 1/2.

It's never stated anywhere that I can see, but you can use the arrow keys to change targets during combat. Useful for when one of those friggin' bats is in the way of the mouse.

this game is really repetative. it is very boring after a while..only reason im playing is because its easy achievements...other then that i would never play this game again

I really want to like this game. It seems like a fun idea, and really, we need more RPGs on here. But like other people said, the grid is WAY too small for this many armor types, it's bugged up the ass, and it always always always drags down way too much memory for what it is. Not to mention, from a storytelling aspect, how do you expect us to care about these characters and their backgrounds when you don't tell us what those backgrounds are? "Your character was forced to be a vampire," yeah, no crap. By who? That crazy witch lady? Why? Why should we care about ANY of this?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Way too much RNG. No way to exit a fight to try for a trophy that's 95% luck based. Frustrating and un-fun. One star.

I really want to like this game, my main complaint is the complete lack of closure. I've sat through all this dialogue to find out there is absolutely no ending.

the not changing targets when you click on them is annoying. Takes 3+ times to click to change target, otherwise a fun game.

Wow.... just wow. Where do I begin? First I would like to say WHERE DID MY SAVE GAMES GO!? That really sucks. I beat the damned thing and now I can't get my badges. Second, this thing has more bugs than the bead spread in a 5 dollar hotel room. It's obviously got a memory leak issue or something as I can't seem to get but so far without having to reload the game after every few battles. Honest to god man, fix the game already. I was stoked when I saw this on kong as I played the buggy version on armor. I figured you MUST have fixed it before it was released on another site but alas, twas not so. Still glitchy as hell. Also, the bats keep attacking my penis. I find this disturbing. Please fix the bugs in the game and do something about the d*** biting bats.

The game is terribly buggy. You can't get to the ending because of the glitch, but you can get the badge if after you restart from the, you win a different battle.

I mean the end of the prison break chapter. I am pissed because I actually grinded for this hard badge lol. I feel like a chump.

....and what's the point of playing for the end when it just freezes and doesn't end? It's a known bug.......fix it or pull it.

3x4 feels like the right number of tiles to have available, an extra layer would make massive combos too easy, for more strategy with less luck you could make the next tiles visible, but not useable.
-List the stats in the same order on equipment (martial melee guns vampire) and in the stats section of the inventory page (guns martial melee vampire), make comparisons easier.
-The hp stat always lists your base on the inventory page, make it consistent with the others and list your total, after equipment. (or list both base and total, could do that for all stats)
-Flame-tile chaining a heal or gaurd onto the end of a killing combo, should allow the heal/gaurd to work, rather than ignoring it because of the kill.

Started off really enjoying this game, but there's way too many flaws - the grid is too small, meaning that it's too luck-based, and combined with no way to exit a battle without refreshing is frustrating. Trying to target enemies can be difficult, there's no obvious reason why they should overlap. The music gets really repetitive after a while. Unless I missed something, the tutorial fails to point out some major elements. There's an 'Exit game' button on the home screen that does nothing. But most of all, it just dies at the end, doesn't save, and doesn't record the badge. I was giving it 4/5 after 10 minutes, it's down to one now. Pity, could have been a great game.

So this is set up to read like a comic book, but instead of galloping over the city with interesting missions featuring recurring characters, I spend the preponderance of the game stuck in some guy's cell with a brain chip in fighting whatever he wants. The game isn't bad. The mythos isn't bad. I want to learn about this world. But the actual storyline that plays out is one big whiff. (Also, who's running the shop in this dungeon??)

Also, the skill descriptions lie. Armor pierce supposedly "sacrifices a tile and destroys the first enemy armor color encountered". What it actually did when I first used it: sacrificed a tile and did absolutely nothing.

It would have given me great pleasure to rate this game highly, unfortunately I can't. The fact is that I just finished my 7th attempt to get the gold trophy for level four which requires killing two enemies in one hit each the reason for my failure every time I tried on the first move none of the spaces had a high enough chain to kill either of them thus I can't rate a game highly which has made this task which should be quite easy impossible I hope that in the future the game will become less luck based because currently it's a 1/5 in my book

It can be difficult to target some enemies when they are behind others. In particular I notice it's hard to target the pale hunchback enemies when they are behind bats.

Another great game broken by the small, overlooked things. With the great music, art, and story, this game could have easily been one of the best.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For me, it seems the game slows down more and more, particularly when the enemies come in for their attacks. I'm forced to refresh every so often to pick it back up. Seems like you've got a bit of a memory leak or something.

The tutorial is absolutely 100% worthless, and the grid is too small for anything except complete random chance to have any particular effect on the battle.

This game is pretty good but there are a few problems that seriously need to be addressed. 1) The grid. It's too small, and just way too luck based. If it won’t get larger than at least add something that tells us what the next block will be. 2) The whole not being able to access the Menu during a battle sucks. If no Menu will be added then at least do us a favor and give us some hot keys like: Music, Restart, and Quit. 3) When in the shop, sometimes our equipped gear will start to flash and won’t let us select it. 4) PLEASE either do something about the chains not carrying over or let us do pick how many blocks we want to use!! I'm tired of getting an x8 Combo and killing my target with the first two. 5) What's the point of having a tutorial that doesn't explain anything? 6) The defense blocks are pretty useless, either make them more useful or take them out.

Epic suck: the store allows you to buy items that you aren't leveled enough to use, without warning you that such a level limit exists. I sold my old jacket and bought one that I was a level away from being able to use, so I was stuck grinding for a dozen low-level battles. Lame.

I would like a way to turn off all graphics of the people fighting. My computer is slow and finds it difficult to cope sometimes... But I like the game a lot! I would just like it to run faster.

Once again I have to ask why many games erase save data once they add kong achievements? I don't get it, but it happens a lot. Kong - is there any way you could write some kind of help guide, or outright code, for these great game developers so this crap stops happening?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Boosts to HP from items doesn't work. Please fix this, as it makes the game sucks f***ing monkey balls since I have to put points into the stat.

The tutorial window that appears in the very first mission (while playing as warrior) does not appear when playing as scoundrel. I don't know about manipulator. I assume this is not an intentional difference, and it was a little confusing when I began the game without this information. Great game!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I don't quite get it. Is there an ending? Beat the last fight twice, got the badge on the second time. But it just stays on the battle screen forever.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
In a game that's so dramatically luck based, there needs to be a way to restart a battle or at least exit out for all those times you can't play more than a 2-combo attack that doesn't even break their armor first turn.
